all kidding aside--- this is a great resource for meeting new people, sharing your creative concotions.
i suggest reading the faq's-- they do help quite alot. look in the forums, post-- intro yourself in the newbie section.
as for where you should have been typing your post, well-- where you did it was o.k, but actually should have been a journal post. this is usually a place for people to stop by and give little shout outs and comments on your gallery.

Hello, how are all of you doing? I'm doing well. Oh wait, let me introduce myself, my name is Kenny, I have a wonderfull girlfriend named Sara, she's all I could ever ask for in a girlfriend, she's perfect. But enough about her for now...I suppose I should tell you about me now huh? I'm a white male, 15 years of age, 5' 6.5", and a bit on the shaggy side. I wear eyeliner. I paint my nails. I am the apitemy of punk rock. I am a rock star. Bow down now. Just kidding about the whole punk rock, rock star thing.
