Ive got 2 reasons:
1st being my first account I got a little careless and didnt really update it or modify it(I dont usually use it except for checking out artworks and commenting) .The 2nd reason is really simple...staying anonymous, in a way to avoid future trouble(whether hacking, trolls,viruses or crap like that.And trust me, where Im from, trouble like that happens almost frequently that its becoming obnoxious and frustrating 😠.).That happened many years ago btw but the problem still persists to this day(but the problem starts to slowly diminish.Good riddance to that!😑).

On another subject, I checked a few SNES JRPGs(most in Japanese) and MY GOD do those games look awesome.
Here's a few examples:
Lufia 1 & 2
Star Ocean(an Enix game with perfect voice acting for an SNES game, awesome graphics/sprites and an intriguing story.I'd definitely recommend this one(the translated version that is).
Seiken Densetsu 3
Tales of Phantasia
Bahamut Lagoon(Final Fantasy spin-off and precursor to FF:Tactics)
Marvelous(no translation)
Albert Odyssey 1-2(no translation currently)
Live A Live(has a translation)
Elfaria 1-2
Romancing Saga Trilogy
Illusion of Gaia.
Plus a Chrono Trigger fanmade sequel called Crimson Echoes that was 98% completed before Squeenix ceased and desisted the project.Squeenix, I am dissapoint.Same for Chrono Ressurection.

When I first found out about those games my mind got blown. I even remember saying "Are you serious?"
Yeah.I dunno why some people tend to dislike the battle system.I found it pretty unique and efficient.And the graphic style in both ToP and Star Ocean are pretty similar in a cool way(not to mention fluid).
The romhack for CT:Crimson Echoes still exists thanks to the developers.I hope they managed to fix the last 2% of the game.
2 other games that arent RPGs are:
Jelly Boy 2(a pretty entertaining and varied platformer with lots of selectable characters).
Nightmare Busters(Oh man...this game.I dont even know where to start.It reminds me of a mesh between Metal Slug, Midnight Wanderers and American McGee's Alice.And its a "new" SNES game like Pier Solar is on the Genesis, for example).
HM for PC:Lomax(No words...just Lemmings!).

Yeah.Played Star Ocean and most of the battles are almost-button mashers(unless you want to use L and R to use magic/special abilities).And Ratix(the main character) reminds me of what would happen if Chrono(Chrono Trigger) would dye his hair back and have Zidane's tail.
And especially for the rest of the Chrono Trigger fans sake as well.Edit:Well...its finally completed.
And speaking of old...what luck.I finally found one of my very favorite games from my childhood that I thought I would never find.
It is a point & click adventure game called Dragonsphere.
If you're interested, you can check them out along with this one.You won't be dissapointed.

Maybe but its probably since the game is odd.You should play the game(still better than Star Ocean 4 on Xbox, which was pretty bad).
Never played Chrono Cross but I heard that its kinda meh compared to the original.
Also the fanmade Chrono Trigger 3D remake called Ressurection is kaput.
Me too.To this day I still have the original CDs(even though I found them recently after some room re-arrangement.
But yeah, those point & click games were the shit back then.Gabriel Knight,King's Quest,Hero Quest,Police Quest,Space Quest,Kyrandia,Sam & Max,Leisure Suit Larry,Simon The Sorcerer,Day of the Tentacle, Syberia 1-2 you name it!My 3rd or 4th favorite genre since the 90's.
And while Im at it here are my least favorite/most frustrating point & click games:
The Runaway series is the worst example.You have to talk to everyone and examine EVERYTHING and use the right itens at the right time in order to progress.I can't do a puzzle since I hadn't talked to anybody in particular yet I talked to everyone on the island.I did? Well that means I haven't examined every pointless or combined two unlikely to fit items.
The type of progression is pretty shitty and ruins the pace.
If you want to try to play blind without a walkthrough don't even try...you'll get stuck easy and you'll feel clueless.
Plus most of the puzzles aren't that obvious(at least to me).
One fair thing I could say is that the graphics are amazing.Its cartoonish and fitting with a little cell-shading to boot.

Most people who played the first game hate chrono cross for one of many reasons, i spoke to someone in comments who really hates the way the game depicted Lavos, Chrono cross depicts Lavos as intelligent
I think mine was a batman game... that was functioning as a edutainment game...

I see.Speaking of edutainments, my very favorite one is Pepper's Adventure in Time.Any edutainment never entertained me as much as this game.The characters, settings and mechanics are the selling point here(even though you might get stuck in a few parts.Plus Benjamin Franklin as a hippie? HECK YES!10/10
Indeed.It took me a lot of time to finish the game.And even after playing with a walkthrough I still got stuck(and have no idea what to do).Unless you found sth new or examined the background for stuff of find a random item that lets you talk to that person or use that item on said person this would be very obnoxious.Plus some of the paths you should take aren't really that self-explanatory.There are a few moments in these games that aren't really that annoying but the rest is just frustrating.
Plus in all the trilogy the main character is always in 3 different forms.In the first game he's a geek.In the second game he's a surfer dude.And in the third he is a convict.

Its my 1st honest dA critique after all.
And regarding critiques in general.
If something sucks then I try to find redeeming qualities no matter how small in it(unless its doomed from the start).A good example is Shaq Fu.The game may be a stinker in terms of concept(debatable),dialogue and controls but the graphics,fluidity and atmosphere say otherwise and the game doesnt deserve 2s or 0s most reviews gave it.A 4 or 4.5 would be fair.
If sth is good or above excellent then the details are a must.Game-wise its a way to avoid games that despite being very good and interesting,have a lot of issure,are mindblowingly overrated, arent as great on the long run,have an atmosphere which doesnt click with the rest of the people and ia considered either too gritty/colorful/flashy...AT ALL etc.Thats why I disliked GTA 4 compared to San Andreas, for example.And I know I made comparisons to games,than with the subject at hand but hey...examples are always good...especially varied.

Im playing Art of Fighting right now and all I can say is...GODDAMN YOU, MR.KARATE!(final SNK boss=cheapest SNK Boss Syndrome...type of boss.2-4 hits, BAM YOURE DEAD(or lost half your health bar ).And the hit detection is lousy.Now that is completely cheap & broken).Thats it.But enough about my rant.How are you?

Jokes aside I agree that its extremely annoying(maybe even pathologically "shudders").What the hell SNK?And whats worse about it is that after the horrendous boss fight my emulator got glitched and now I cant move the joystick button without the volume types,gamma,brightness options to appear and ruin the graphics,sound level and overall experience.During the boss fight it opened the emulator menu and I couldnt get out of it.Its official.The game trolls me.
