Yay paleosir , i have a question for you: what size you would attribute as a middle size for a theropod femur: 50 cm? 60 cm? 80? Because 1 m is a large one (Animal con femur of 1 m is around the tonne) Comment and i explain you to what boi is refered.
Also if the femur has the fourth trochanter placed above the midpoint says something to you? In terms of relationships

mid sized is such a vague term, it could conceivably refer to theropods as large as Deinonychus (so in the 30 cm region) to maybe sometimes things as large as typical Allosaurus with a ~90 cm femur, though more generally those are seen as large. I would think mid sized can be anything between as large as a dog and the size of a small rhinoceros in this case so that's not useful.
I think most theropods have the trochanter above the midpoint.

Thank you, it is about a Toarcian Femur from Whitby UK. There are 2 Toarcian Theropod remains on UK, this and a vertebra of 87 mm. Both are on the Whitby coll. There are various rumors about the femur, but it´s tru size isn´t clear: runs from 65 to 91 cm, so that´s why i asked.

Yeah, paleontologists generally compare the features of fossilized remains and compare them to a wide range of other species to see which it would most likely be closely related to. This is especially true for Megalosaurus, because it used to be the case that palaeontologists would just classify most theropod dinosaur fossils as Megalosaurus, and later palaeontologists then reclassified them.

Ey paleosir i lost the Link to your Yunyangosaurus over the Mashosasurus skeleton, can you provide access to it again? Because it's highly probably that Yunyangosaurus is the first theropod to match with the Toarcian theropod Vertebra from northern Germany.

80 mm Acording to Mortimer (5 m long for the Animal) . Material is considered a Dorsal Centrum, but matches with the last dorsal of Yunyangosaurus.

The longest dorsal vertebra preserved in Yunyangosaurus is ~63 mm, so an 80 mm vertebra scaled from that would be larger. My Yunyangosaurus is around 5.7 m long, so that 80 mmvertebra would yield a total length of ~7.2 m.

Ouch, that thing is no joke. I would have to look it deeper. Thank you! It is curious that this, Emausaurus and 2 Gravisaurians belong to and extension of the Ciechocinek Formation That has a well preserved seashore environments on the Polish Margin.

The Ciechocinek Formation is explained Here: Hesselbo, S. P., & Pieńkowski, G. (2011). Stepwise atmospheric carbon-isotope excursion during the Toarcian oceanic anoxic event (Early Jurassic, Polish Basin). Earth and Planetary Science Letters, 301(1-2), 365-372.
There is a ton of articles of that Formation: about periodical fires, the oldest preserved biomolecules know, Massive presence of Fungus, etc. There are Footprints to be described: Kayentapus, Megalosauripus, Anchisauripus, Moyenisauropus, Parabrontopodus and Brontopodus.

I haven't because there isn't a good Piatnizkysaurus skeletal. I could perhaps try to adapt Hartman's Marshosaurus to Piatnizkysaurus but probably won't have the motivation to do that.

Doesn't really say much, since piatnizkysauridae is 3 taxa generally it only means Piatnizkysaurus groups closer with Condorraptor than it does with Marshosaurus, which makes perfect sense considering they are from the same formation.
