Hey! Sorry, yeah, I haven't been on DA in a really long time. Partly because I've been ridiculously busy with school (I'm in one of the top 2 Journalism programs in the nation and it's intense) so I haven't had time to write anything I want to. I have some drawings to upload, but I'm still waiting for a cord so I can hook my scanner up to my computer. I've also been getting some hate here on DA which is just, demoralizing. So I've been on Tumblr a lot more ([link] ), but still, not really creating my own wrk just because I having had time. It's really weird but I've actually joined an entirely new fandom as well (00Q) and haven't done anything for it... I don't know, hopefully I'll be able to write for fun soon. I have a lot of beginnings for things but no endings and RaRVaT has come to a complete standstill.
Hopefully I'll be back to my old self again soon, I've just been having a challenging few months and even though I know writing will help, I haven't had the time to do my own little form of literary therapy.

Just wondering who's your favourite Sherlock actor and what do think of Robert Downey Jr.?

First of all, a question about your question. When you say my favorite Sherlock actor do you mean my favorite actor from the TV show Sherlock or my favorite actor who's played Sherlock?
If the former, I'm a big fan of Benedict Cumberbatch and Rupert Graves. If the latter I think that Sherlock (TV/Modern) has the best writers, which makes Sherlock seem smarter and the whole thing work better. And to be entirely fair, I haven't seen all the different versions but I do have a soft spot for Basil Rathborne (spelling?) too. But I really dislike the man who plays his Watson, which makes them difficult to watch sometimes.
I really like Robert Downey Jr in several respects, I think it's fantastic that he's managed to turn his life around and in general, I think he's a fantastic actor. (I mean, Iron Man. Just, yeah.) As Sherlock Holmes, he's not my favorite, but the dynamic between him and Jude Law as Watson is perfect, and I really love that strong, intimate (and platonic) relationship they have
What are your opinions? What makes you ask?

I was thinking just someone who's played the character. I'm definitely in a tie between Jeremy Brett and Benedict Cumberbatch. I think Conan Doyle would love Brett, he's just so classic and Cumberbatch is just amazing and modernizes the stories perfectly. I do like Robert Downey Jr as an actor, but I think he's too perfect for Ironman to be perfect for Sherlock.
Just asking because RDJ seems to be the marmite of the Sherlockian world, either you love him or you hate him.
