Alright I'll change it. Also I recently watched "The other Side of the Wind". Orson Welles last film about a Director named Jake Hannaford who dies and leaves an incomplete film. But Welles repeatedly said not to draw parallels between himself and Hannaford so making Hannaford a Welles expy would be fitting, but also go against Welles's own words.

Haven't added it yet. Thinking of going for Kevin Spacey's portrayal(why not James Stewart appears twice, and technically so would Harrison Ford). Some of them, mostly the ones from books don't have portrayals. For A.B.C. Smith I went with his real world inspiration, and for William Scott Henderson I went with Lyndon B Johnson. Imagining he visually looked like him explains LBJ's visual appearance in Forrest Gump where I don't think he's named.

If there's anything I want to write out with the Presidents its probably the events of Rick and Morty with Frank Underwood. He composes himself differently then the President on that show. He's usually more calm and always sinister sounding. Rick would boast but Underwood stays calm in every situation. He also breaks the fourth wall all the time which Rick can also do. Every scene he's in would go from comedic to intense very quickly.

Minor idea, Nehemiah Scudder is either a descendant, a clone or a reincarnation of Gordon Sweeney (the guy whom initialy was going to be the Hitler analogue in Southern Victory), considering both are religious fanatics.

I was going to suggest throwing in Mr.Sweeney from the Wild West TV Show Hell on Wheels where he is a fanatic and insane murderer that becomes a Mormon but when I looked him up I realized his real name is Thor Gunderson and I was misremembering his nickname "The Swede" because he is Norwegian. Although Nehemiah Scudder's entry on Fictionalization includes a Quote from William Stryker praising Scudder. I was planning to put up quotes if I could find them since some of them have amazing quotes.

So, basically, it would go much like your idea of Joe Steele trying to become the president of USA while burning Delano, except instead of Steele, its Capone. And instead of J Edgar Hoover being the one setting the white house on fire, it would had been Frank Nitti (Considering both are expies of Lavertly Beria in the novels Steele and USSA respectively)

So, if Capone is busy trying to turn USA communist, who would be his equivalent in the crime ring? Either Al Caprice or Tony Camonte

Or Superman could still and in USSA, but have his personality of Red Son (and instead of being the son of Stalin he is the son of Al Capone), which would latter led him to form an oppresive rule for "the sake of mankind" and form the Crime Scyndicate

Yeah. I'll keep Joe Steele in the U.S. since he is more likely to turn US communist than Capone. Fearless Leader can be the Stalin stand in. Though I'll make mention of the old practice of German Lords being used to rule small provinces in foreign countries(since they would be completely neutral). I'm bringing this up because explaining that this practice continued into the 1930s in this world but Americans were used, to explain how Americans like Rufus T.Firefly and Moe Hailstone could rule small countries as well as theΒ Potsylvanian Fearless Leader for Russia.

I think Fictionalziation I’d that idea but they also had the Russian name. I think it’s because maps of Pottsylvania place it in the Baltics. So the name would be Baltic. Then again he’s also based off several Nazis.

Cps43327097 In reply to Nintendogamemaster [2018-11-29 14:32:53 +0000 UTC]

yeah. He’s not a perfect Stalin stand in because he’s running Pottsylvania in the Rocky And Bullwinkle cartoon which ended in 1964. After Stalin died. He also bears some similarities to some Nazi Officers. Pottsylvania is based on East Germany after World War I, where German Scientists and spies were being recruited by either America or Russia for various projects. Pottsylvania is supposedly were nations go shopping for Assassins as it were

Nintendogamemaster In reply to Cps43327097 [2018-11-29 22:10:42 +0000 UTC]

You are correct

My idea is basically using it as part of the timeline

The reason?

In part two, Engladn and France agree to team up with Germany to fight the Soviets, even if some are against the idea...Of course, in this universe, there would be a far bigger threat...The Draka

My idea is, instead of briefly teaming against Russia, they briefly team against The Draka

As for the Batman thing, I had initially though on placing most of WayneΒ΄s adventures on the 40s or 50s, Grayson becoming batman on the 60s

Right

Alternatively, the Fearless Leader apoints Joe Steele as ruler of Russia (thus having both Russia and USA)

Im considering on putting Jason Todd and Tim Drake as the Robins of the 50s btw (That way you would have Grayson in the 40s, Drake and Todd in the 50s and Bruce Wayne Jr in the 60s)

Cps43327097 In reply to Nintendogamemaster [2018-11-29 21:30:20 +0000 UTC]

I was trying to make a Clean cut Batman continuity. Here's what I have so far but a little confusing.

BATMAN FAMILY TREE

Bruce Wayne became Batman in 1937(The Golden Age Batman story the Cop who Hated Batman) met Superman in 1939 at the World’s Fair when they fought the Ultra Humanite, adopted Dick Grayson, who became Robin in 1940, and alongside the two would fight in World War II. After 1945, Mike Thingmaker made Superheroes illegal. Only the government regulated Superman, the diplomatic immunity granted Wonder Woman and the illegal vigilante Batman remained. However Bruce Wayne considered retiring and married Selina Kyle, fathering Bruce Wayne Jr. Dick Grayson went off to University.

In the 1960s when they Superheroes were no longer banned, Dick Grayson became Batman II while Bruce Wayne Jr became Robin II. Batman I, still fairly fit, would join the Justice League while Batman II and Robin II would protect Gotham. Robin II would join the Teen Titans on and off. This duo also discovered Captain America along with the Avengers Alfred in the late 60’s became married to a woman named Harriet. 1967 also saw the appearance of Barbara Gordon.(here the original Commissioner Gordon’s granddaughter). In the 1970s Bruce Wayne Jr would become Batman III, meeting and falling in love with Talia Al Ghul. Meanwhile Dick Grayson’s own son(presumably Dick Grayson Jr) would become Robin III in 1980 and lead the New Teen Titans as Robin and later Nightwing, falling in love with the Tamaran Princess Starfire and having a daughter.

In 1982, Batman III adopted Jason Todd and he became Robin IV, sadly he would be killed by the second Joker(The first Joker died in 1945 along with the Red Skull. The second Joker was a prankster in the 1960s and considered mostly harmless until the murder). This was followed by the deaths of both Selina Kyle and the original Batman by the original murderer of the Waynes now granted superhuman abilities. The two would kill each other in a final battle prior to the Crisis on Infinite Earths but Batman I would be resurrected by the event. Bruce Wayne Jr would retire in despair until 1985. Batman I would retire himself but came out of retirement when gang violence increased too much. This resulted in the murder of the second Joker and a battle with Superman that saw Bruce Wayne fake his own death, and manipulate things from the shadows while training Robin V: a girl named Carrie Kelly. Alfred suffered a fatal stroke and passed away.

Believing his father to be truly dead. In 1989, the resurrected Jason Todd took the mantle of Batman and began killing criminals until Tim Drake became his Robin in an attempt to reform him. However Jason Todd would suffer a serious injury from the Villain Bane that saw Jean Paul Valley briefly assume the role. Meanwhile the original Batman would be confronted by the aged original Superman in 1996, who had retired after the death of Lois Lane and was reassembling the Justice League. Meanwhile Bruce Wayne Jr’s son Damian Wayne infiltrated Lex Luthor’s criminal group. While this event led to several deaths of meta humans, the Bat family suffered no losses. A funeral would eventually be held for Batman I but given the use of the Lazarus pit it may be another fake out

Time Drake then became Batman in 2005, originally without a Robin. He is thought killed saving Gotham from a Nuclear explosion with John Blake briefly assuming the role of Robin under the tutelage of the serving Bruce Wayne Jr. Blake was murdered by the latest man who took the mantle of the Joker and Bruce Wayne Jr became just like his father had become in his older years. In 2019 Bruce Wayne Jr began training teenager Terry McGuiness to be the New Batman.

I saw that too in a documentary on The Other Side of the Wind. I was going to suggest he was friends with Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan to parallel Hemingway's friendship with them but that wouldn't fit. Welles was born in 1915 and dies in 1985 at 70. Hannaford dies at 70 as well, presumably in 1985 after like Welles finished filming "The Other Side of the Wind" in 1976.

So...Elsa Frankenstein is part Arandellian? (Possibly a descendant of Anna and Kristoph?)

Also I like the idea of Perry Mason and Phoenix Wright being friends, even though Im not sure if its time accurate, if we involve the Layton crossover Ace Attorney games would happen in the 60s.

Oh Cool. I haven't worked don that because I was considering whether I should imply Harry turtledove's Southern Victory series takes place in the Leagueverse. While the first bit could the more popular sequels have Jake Featherston, a Hitler analogue, rise to power with Hitler being just a regular civilian. It works in the LEagueverse since we'd have Hynkel and England is the focus in that series so it could have happened, but not in the Wold Newton Universe which I've already started evoking. Hitler is used too much in fiction to remove entirely.

I like that idea, as far as Im concerned, some fictional characters stand-ins can take the place of real life people as to make a "No celebrities where harmed", example, Terner takes JaggerΒ΄s life, history and place. Same with other stand ins, with the few differences of having the adventures of their works of fiction.

I also had the idea of Johnny Gentle having a son whom time traveled to the past, as a reference to the Baron Trump novels en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baron_Tr…
