Soooo~ how was that soccer match between you and Germany yesterday~

CptSitax In reply to ChibiStarr [2012-09-14 05:31:00 +0000 UTC]

W-We had a soccer match?! Wait...that WOULD explain the newspaper header "WIR HABEN CHANCEN GEGEN DEUTSCHLAND"! I saw it and was like "the fuck guys, chances to what?!" xD So I didn't watch it. I'm such a fail. My classmates are supposed to inform me of that kind of stuff! ;A; Though I'm almost 100% sure we lost. Because we suck at football. And the Germans are really good at it. Was like that since after WWII, and is still so now xD

Anyhow, I haven't hard from you in a while! How's life?

Oh, and have you ever heard of "Oomph!"?

ChibiStarr In reply to CptSitax [2012-09-21 23:47:15 +0000 UTC]

XDDDD Lol it's okay it's just my German friend was totally bragging

Err, busy with school XD

YES~!

CptSitax In reply to ChibiStarr [2012-09-24 19:43:56 +0000 UTC]

It's not an achievement or anything to win against us in football! xD It is to win against us in skiing~

I see Well, I hope you get less busy soon Though I'm not the one to talk. We're getting swamped with home-work. And I have school on three afternoons of the week. Ah, well xD

THEY. ARE. AWESOME. Fuck, I love them. I heard my first Pater Noster in their song "Gott ist ein Popstar" xD

Lol yeah but still XDD

Yeah me too but sometimes I just want to fall asleep the moment I come home and even then I miss a lot of my friends because of time zones. Pfft only three you lucky thing.

XDDDD I LOVE THAT SONG

We'd totally rub i in their faces if we won against them in skiing, too, so it's fair xD

I'm not used to afternoon lessons, and it's extremely bothersome. I have three different Physics classes, that's exhausting. Not to mention the two chemistry and maths classes xD

I first found through a Germancest video for Sandmann~ I was so creeped out when he sang "La le lu, nur der Mann im Mond schaut zu~" because that's a normal German nursery rhyme thing. It's creepy when he sings it o.O But awesome as well

Omg that's terrible XDD Well I shouldn't be laughing because we have only one of those but still, I only have four classes all day.

Gaaah omg that is so awesome.

Tormenting people with sarcasm is much more fun than it should be xD Gah, I absolutely hat coffee xD On the other hand I also hate Coke, Ice Tea, and soft drinks (or anything carbohydrated in general) xD No, I've never heard of him, but it sounds awesome :3 I know I already replied to this, but OH GOD WHY DID I READ THAT. I wanted to throw myself out of the window after read it. Good gods, that person is a genius! No matter what I will read now, it will be NOTHING compared to this in sadness. Holy shit, thinking about it makes my gut clench and gives me the insufferable need to go into a corner and be sad. I know I mentioned it before, but I NEVER cry, I consider it impractical and irrational, but that story...holy shit.
Most people don't listen to my advice because they think I'm just being paranoid, so I just accepted they won't have the best chances. Meh, tough luck xD

Still, send me whatever you got from that book. I might be able to help a little

But I'm not tired! *discreetly sips coffee* And I've actually been out of school for a week now, summer break started on May 30th so I'm free as a bird~ Chat away my friend~

CptSitax In reply to ChibiStarr [2012-06-08 09:13:37 +0000 UTC]

*gapes repeatedly* your summer break starts at MAY 30th??! Mine starts sometime during the beginning of July...*envious glare* xD

I have holidays too, but they're called "Pfingsten", ie the time when Jesus' fellas went and told everyone about how cool he is...was. I'm not going to complain, it's a holiday after all xD

I'm desperately waiting to find out if one (rather, I) can watch "Der junge und der alte König" somewhere on the web, so, could you tell me? :3

Oh and, by the way, PLEASE don't look at my gallery. It's full of stuff I've drawn ages (one and a half years) ago, I've improved, I'm just too lazy to scan my new stuff D:

ChibiStarr In reply to CptSitax [2012-06-08 09:18:35 +0000 UTC]

Yeah it's actually kinda of early, it usually starts in June...AND WHAT? JULY?! *mindblown*

Huh...never heard of them XD But that's right, no complaining! Even if it's ridiculous you're getting out of school for something.

Youtuuube my friend~ They haz everything: [link]

Lol I don't know about Scrubs anyway so I won't get most of it XD And I would say the same, about not looking into the back of my gallery unless you like having your retinas seared by old badfics and my crappy excuse of drawing skills.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CptSitax In reply to ChibiStarr [2012-06-08 09:28:39 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, and it lasts until September. But we have lots of holidays and long weekends in between, so it's okay...kind of xD

Most people don't even know why they're allowed to stay out of school. But that's not even remotely as bad as most of them not even to be able to tell me the capital of Belarus or Lithuania. (I've got to talk, an embarrassingly little while ago (it was late at night!) I couldn't even figure out if Poland was in Europe or Asia. I was quite sure it was in Europe, but not completely. I was so embarrassed that I started map labeling, and now I know all the countries of Europe and Asia, and where they are :3)

THANK YOU! Ahem, my greatest thanks, fine lady. Your help is appreciated. xD

Oh right...my Scrubs phase. Wow, thinking back, that was SO weird. *shudder* I'm glad I'm over that. Hetalia is my favourite fandom so far, especially since I have a new field of interest because of it. The only thing I even liked remotely as much was Star Trek...the original series though, the movie had nice effects but the story was crap.

...Yeah August is actually when I go back to school XD

Lol that's just a silly little incident that you can laugh off later XDD Reminds me of when I would always get thought Poland and Holland were the same (which is why I call it the Netherlands) and I thought Denmark was actually Iceland ;;>>

Ah, you're very welcome. I'm glad I could help ^^

EEEEEEEEEEEE OH MY GODS YOU LIKE STAR TREK? AND THE ORIGINAL SERIES? *screams* Sorry but will you have to forgive me but I could literally jump through the computer and hug you right now and awkwardness be damned. I love Star Trek so freaking much and if it weren't so late I'd be bouncing in my seat right now from joy XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CptSitax In reply to ChibiStarr [2012-06-08 09:53:15 +0000 UTC]

In that case it's fair, after all

The whole incident happened while I was playing country guessing with a friend of mine (actually, my best friend, but we don't do the best friend stuff together, that's why I don't call her that), and she still says it when she wants to make my credibility crumble xDD Or to get me out of balance when we play Mario Kart 64

That movie is awesome, and I've only seen the first part But seriously, do you speak German?

I LOVE STAR TREK! OH MY GOD FINALLY ANOTHER FAN! I absolutely adore Star Trek, it's so awesome (and yes, there is fangirlism of the strange kind involved there xD)! I've seen it first when there was a special on TV on the first of November and I stayed the whole day at my gran's (we don't have cable at my place, but my gran lives right next door xD) just so I could watch the whole thing!! Live long and prosper, fellow Trekkie!

ChibiStarr In reply to CptSitax [2012-06-08 10:13:53 +0000 UTC]

Lol yeah, earlier break time means earlier back to school time XDD

Mario Kart 64, niiice XDDD I'm just glad no on ever figured out my confusion, although I still get weird looks whenever I say Netherlands. Holland is just too weird of a word for me now XDD

*sighs* No, sadly I do not. I can speak it a little but not enough to ever hold a decent conversation with someone. I can acually read and listen to it much better than I can speak it, since I know I would butcher the grammar XD I would absolutely love to learn it one day though.

YEESS!! None of my other friends understand why I like Star Trek so seeing another fan is awesome XD Both of my parents grew up int he 60s so they actually watched it as kids when it first aired. Lolz. I never really cared much for it until we went to go see the new movie (and I will admit that I love the movie, sorry XD) and I was basically all "This is awesome where has it been my whole life?!!" so they showed me the magical world that is TOS. Live long and propser!!

CptSitax In reply to ChibiStarr [2012-06-08 10:21:38 +0000 UTC]

I can't say Holland either, but I don't know why xD

I loved the movie when I first watched it (ie, when it came out), but the story is a little dubious, though really, you can almost SMELL the romance between Kirk and Spock :3 Spock is my favourite character (seriously, who doesn't like Spock? He's almost the spirit of the show! Like Sheldon in Big Bang Theory xD)

Gaaaah y u do this to meee Oh gods...I am proud to say though that I was able to read about, oh, two-thirds of it without any help and that's because I didn't know what some of the words meant XD Actually though I do believe I have that comic in my favorites somewhere~

It's just convolted enough to be a Star Trek plot XD And yes I love Spock so much, he's everyone's favorite character (and I'm just like him apparently so go figure >P) But I also adore McCoy cause he's such a snarky bastard XD

CptSitax In reply to ChibiStarr [2012-06-09 18:38:44 +0000 UTC]

It's...one of those words i can't say without feeling strange xD

Awesome! you understand some German! Are you taught a second language at your school, and if so, which? And that comic is epic xD I annoy my brother by calling him a Plinsen; it annoys him first because it sounds stupid (the same reason he called me "hentai" during the last summer holidays; he didn't know what it meant, even though I told him, but he just thought it would be funny to call me that), and second because it's Saxon xD

How could anyone, ever dislike Spocl~ *swoon* And McCoy is so cool xD he's so sarcastic

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ChibiStarr In reply to CptSitax [2012-06-09 19:12:34 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, the pronounciation is all weird.

*sigh* Sadly my school does not teach German, which is really stupid because English is a Germanic-based language anyway so it would be much easier to learn than the Romantic languages >.< All of my German is self-taught, and I take Latin classes in my school so I can translate some Latin for you XDD Hehe, Plinsen...sounds kinda funny in my opinion, although I'm probably saying it wrong XD Reminds me of my friends when we throw British and Australian insults at each other.

No one, becuase Spock is win XDD And McCoy with his wonderful Southerness automatically makes my Southern self smile, and he's just this little ball of sass XD And he has the color of Fritz's eyes~ *shot

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CptSitax In reply to ChibiStarr [2012-06-09 21:31:23 +0000 UTC]

That's a pity, there's lots of classics that only work in German (same goes for English and French, but those are taught anyways xD), and it's generally a practical language since it's Germanic and all. But it's really impressive how much you must've already taught yourself in German! I'd totally do it to (because of Prussia xD), but I already speak it so I don't need to I'm teaching myself bits and pieces of Russian though; my whole class does it, just for fun, because we seriously have too much time xD I have Latin classes as well, because it's kind of the basic for most complicated words and vocabulary in European (non-Slavic) languages. You probably pronounce it differently than the real thing, since the sound we make in German for "Pl" sounds different than for example your "PLease", but otherwise it should be correct xD

He's awesome Being all smart and splendid at 3D - chess xD Didn't Fritz have more bluish-green eyes? On one of his portraits he does, I think...

OH MY GOD, I'm almost done with the movie link you sent me (I know I'm slow...but I was sick in the meantime! xD), and the seen where Katte dies is so heart wrenching ;A; I thought I was gonna die! And when Katte helps Fritz up after he got a beating by his father...so much slash you could smell it (or whatever...). Don't you think it's weird that Fritz was idolized during the third Reich, even though he actually hated his home country at first, was hyper-tolerant towards religion and so forth for his time AND most probably homosexual, too?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ChibiStarr In reply to CptSitax [2012-06-09 23:20:03 +0000 UTC]

Yes, exactly! I wouldn't really want to read the German classics in translated English because the flair of the sentence is always lost in translation. But thank you! Makes me feel better about my German knowledge XD I also know a small scattering of Russian but it's pathetic compared to my Latin and German
Huh. Such simple differences in thing you never thought would sound different. You learn something new every day XD

Lolyep and outsmarting computers all the time in his dry, snarky way. And no, Fritz had brilliant blue eyes, which also had some gray in them. McCoy eyes are that exact color xD

Gaaaah I remember that part! ;A; And the scene where Katte helps him up just broke my heart and filled me with warm fuzzies all in one. Yes, Fritz was idolized a lot by people, like Napoleon and Hitler, even though he was nothing like them. They liked him because of his military victories, not because of the person he was.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CptSitax In reply to ChibiStarr [2012-06-10 00:56:46 +0000 UTC]

I wouldn't want to read the English classics (or literature in general) translated into German, either! Yeah, I actually wanted to find the proper sounds and pronunciations with English terms so you'd know how to say it, but when I failed with the first part, I gave up xD

I sadly only have the imprint of that one painting (where he actually SMILES *gasp*), and there his eyes have a greenish tone xD But if they were that...brilliant blue McCoy's are, then that's even...better *if you know what I mean*

I love that slight hint of romance that's lingering over them~ Good gods, write a scene with them already! xD Hitler (or Goebbels, whoever was in charge f making him a German idol) could've at least chosen a person the was not the complete opposite of them xD But yes, they most probably chose because of his...unlikely, to say the least, victory against, you know, the three biggest countries in Europe. Probably something the third Reich wanted to do again. Well, Friedrich (I'm sorry, I can't write Frederick, because both are two different names in German, so a Frederick is something else to me than a Friedrich) didn't try to go against Russia. And he had England on his side xD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ChibiStarr In reply to CptSitax [2012-06-10 01:22:30 +0000 UTC]

Lol not to mention that English has these bastard things called homographs and homonyms which I'm sure are a headache for any person who isn't a native English speaker. XD A lot of English is just stuff you have to know because there aren't any rules for them.

Omg you have a pic of him smiling?! (Of all the pics I've seen of him I've only seen two or three where he actually smiles XD) His eye color is actually very hard to tell from his pictures, since a lot of them look gray, but my awesome biography on him repeatedly says that his eyes were a lovely blue. (I know exactly what you mean. Whenever I think of beautiful blue eyes I see DeForest Kelly in my head, and because I have the remastered versions of Star Trek his eye color stands out so much )

LOL the prompt I'm working on right this moment has them in it, chill out! XDD Minister of Propaganda...I think that was Goebbels. But that's propaganda, Fritz was the greatest German king and they had to use the most well known person as their idol. Not to mention Hitler felt personally connected to him, as weird as that sounds. He would often compare his own hands to drawings of Fritz's (yes, I'm being serious.) Well England wasn't too big of a help in the Seven Years' War, they were all fighting France in America, actually. Over here we call it the French and Indian War because they were our enemies; basically all Britain did was distract France over here so they couldn't send their entire army to Europe to crush Frederick (sorry, I'm too used to typing the English name XD) and send him tons and tons of money. Well they did also win the Battle of Minden for him but for the most part Fritz and Prussia were on their own xD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CptSitax In reply to ChibiStarr [2012-06-10 21:09:33 +0000 UTC]

I've never heard of those before...luckily I learned English early enough that pronunciation usually comes naturally I'm pretty sure the German equivalent would be something like the stummes h (mute h), where it's there, but ignored.

Yeah, I think it's really famous, too. It's portrait, and the smile is very slight, but it's there, and in my headcannon he was thinking about Prussia's weird-, no, AWESOMEness when the painter drew him :3 Or something like that...and McCoy has super shiny, almost anime like eyes! Brilliant blue and deep red...that's awesome.

THANK YOU, you updated :3 You have no idea how happy I am That's right, I'm still often baffled with the...incorrectness of it. From the wars I know of (which are not that many; I'm focusing on the Seven Years' one now) England as an ally is not a great help. Most probably because 1. they're separated from Europe by sea, and 2. were actually most powerful abroad.

Me and my brother were playing Pokemon in the first floor of my grans house, when my Granddad went upstairs to tell me there was a documentation about Fritz in an hour. When I went down an hour later, I noticed...I already knew the film xD It was the first one you sent me :3 My gran laughed out loud and said (in German , obviously) "Was machen wir mit dir? Du weißt ja schon alles über ihn!" and I replied "Abgesehen von militärstrategien und so...haupstcählich, ja" to which she got up and signaled me to follow her to her bedroom, where she showed me what she got me for the upcoming vacation: a book about Fritz and his military, by Somethingsomething Duff! I tackle hugged her :3

Lol homographs are wrds that made similar spelling but are pronounced differently (like cough and dough, for example) and they can also be two words that share the same spelling but have different meanings (like the two meanings of "close"). Homonyms are even worse because they have the same spelling and pronounciation but a different meaning. (Like, hmm, the word "bow." It can be a bow that you wear, a bow that you shoot arrows with, the bow of a ship, an action, or the bow of an instrument.)

YOU'RE WELCOME~ Katte and Fritz just for you my dear~ Aww, that's so sweet! ^^ I wish I had a portrait of Old Fritz in my room XD
Lolyeah, not to mention England really freaking wanted America all to themselves because we brought them in a crap ton of money and raw materials, so fighting on the mainland wasn't really their priority then.

OMG yes I wish my gran was that cool XDD Although my mother is a great susbstitute cause she was the the one who oreder my wonderful biography of him, written by the amazing Robert Asprey.
But my next prize is this: [link] I simply must have this book in my life. You have no idea.

*gags* Eeew god how did the other kids in my class ever learn this stuff D: God I feel so sorry for them. I learned English pretty early (as I probably mentioned...I can't remember xD), and so this stuff at some point came pretty naturally to me. I'm actually in the native speaking group now (finally!), which is pretty awesome, because I'm still pretty good in English class (I got an A on my last test, even though I practically exclusively used invective concerning the stupid book we read xD)

*hugs and hands freshly baked cyber cookie* it was so nice, and such a good mix of angst and fluff °u° I don't have the Fritz portrait hanging in my room, but I printed it out from the internet and put it on the part of my desk I renamed "the Prussia shrine" xD I've seen it though, in Sans Souci
Aah, the Anglo-Saxons have always been the black sheep of Europe. They've always been different...they always missed the fun that was racial mixing because one race was conquered by another xD

My gran is awesome My mom doesn't really get what's with me and Prussia, she' just delighted that my field of interest isn't only in physics anymore xD I think she was a little worried I'd turn into an outcast xD
*gapes like a fish* Holy mother of god, I want that! I have something similar (also from my gran xD), called "Europäische Uniformen", but I recently figured out that it doesn't reach back until the 18th century! But it costs so much ;A;

Lol English is really weird if you take a step back and look at it all technical and stuff XD Being a native speaker I don't really question it and I know how to pronounce everything and I don't question it. But it's awesome that you can speak it so well though!

Yay~! *noms of cyber cookies* Lol that seems to be the usual with my stuff XD I would print out a pic as well, but I don't have a frame for him so I just keep a bunch of links to all of the various pictures of Fritz on the internet
Well I'm sure growing up on an isolated island does weird stuff to you XD Although those wars and mixing would make some very interesting family trees.

My mom doesn't really understand why I'm into Prussia specifically, but she likes German history so she doesn't complain that much XDNo one else gets it though. ;w;
Gaaah me too!! I remember when I first saw it I stopped breathing, literally until I got all light headed XD Then I went "how much is 129 euros in dollars? o3o ....160 WTF?!!!"

It's indeed practical

Another reason I like your stuff so much :3
It sure does...me and my dad joke that the British colonized so much because they hated the weather of their own country xD They sure do! I recently found out that some part of my family was in Bohemia xD

My gran is super happy, because she is kind of fond of giving presents and also history and stuff, o she's happy I switched my interest to history instead of physics for the time being. I think my brother preferred my latter affliction (awesome word), though...
Holy shit, the dollar dropped in worth again? Or did it rise...I should really pay more attention to stuff like that when watching the news. xD

BTW, did you see/hear about the stuff that happened in Poland because of the 1:1 tie between them and the Russians? There was even a 9gag (yes, dedicated 9gagger here xD) post from a polish dude who said he was sorry for the stupid dickheads (his words!) who made the Polish look like assholes. At the end of the post there were a little Russia and a little Poland heart, and that kind of got my senses tingling again xD

Yep~

Oh, well thank you for that ^^
Lol well a lot of British did move from Britain to India and America and whatnot so that could be pretty true Lol that's awesome! I think my German ancestors came from Hanover and Prussia (yes, actual Prussia <3)

Hmm, physics you say? Oddly enough I was never interested that much in them but I always did super well on my tests XD My love used to be for literature and music and languages, and somehow history got shoved into there XD (Affliction? I do believe that is a word for a disease, even though the word is awesome XD)
And I really can't answer that, I don't watch the news and even if I did they wouldn't tell us stuff like that XDD

Hmmm...that sounds like something with football (not calling it soccer, I hate that word XD) And even though I don't know it that sounds so freaking cute ~ ^_^

I wish I had that awesome in my genes as well (I probably do, but I don't know about it xD)! Oh Prussia...

So. Embarrassed. You have no idea. Oh my god, I wanna bury myself in hole or something. It's always me who tells people to use nicer vocabulary. And then I use it the wrong way. Way to ruin my reputation.
Anyhow, I was never really interested in any artistic or unscientific anything, but I needed a fill in of some sorts, since I didn't have physics, and hetalia made history and geography the obvious choice. But I was never really one for more "creative" subjects, partially because my physics teachers were awesome, and the others weren't, but I also kind of grew up with the belief that physics and maths and so forth are harder than other things. I personally don't know if they are, from what I hear, yes, but I find them easy xD
I watch the news all the time xD I hate reading newspaper, because it is impossible to read it comfortably,m but I wanna know what's happening around the world. And what was I thinking, why the hell would they show you news of what happens during the EM (Europameisterschaft)? xD

Yes, it's about the Europe cup (or whatever it's called in English), which is held in Poland and Ukraine. For a dedicated hetalia fan, something like that can't go unnoticed :3 I actually don't hate the word soccer, but I hate the weird use of football. If you really have to name t after the body part it's played with and the projectile thrown, name it handegg. Seriously. xD

Lol you might! Prussia and Austria were neighbors after all, just like Prussia and Hanover were sort of next to each other and allies, which is where some of the Prussian blood in my line comes from.

D: Ohh, you're just fine! I mean you would probably laugh at my terrible German and then I would be the embarrassed one. (I think affiliaton was the word you were looking for btw :3 )
Lol I was always terrible in math and while my science and physics classes were good in grades, I never really had a particular interest (aka rabidness) in them. They were just so black and white, but reading literature and painting! So colorful and imaginative and creative, I always loved things that excited my mind and imagination so those were always for me. It also explain why I love writing so much because it lets my imagination go crazy. My teachers were pretty much "meh" allt he way around, and I hated how many of my literature teachers seemed to just put it all in more technical terms, so I always did my own studying, which was something I couldn't do with the sciences because you need a teacher to teach you those things.
Lol my parents stopped getting the newspaper because they're phone nerds I'm on the internet all the time though so all of my news comes from there.

....Hmm, never heard of it XD I know of the FIFA World Cup because that actually is aired here but I don't think I've heard of the EM before....now you make me actually want to turn on my TV to find something XD But omg the fanart and fics around FIFA freaking exploded around that time, it was insane.
HANDEGG. PFFFTHANDEGG XDDDDDDD Oh my gods you just made my entire week with that, I think I pulled a muscle laughing so hard. I am never calling it a football ever again XD I think the football name comes from the fact that it was based off of rugby football in the beginning, and the ball is close to a foot in length.

It wouldn't show in the behaviour of my family, but it'd still be cool

No...oh god, but thank you for being nice And yes, I meant affiliation, I couldn't think of it when you pointed out my mistake, and so I couldn't even say "I meant something different, they sound so alike!", which made things even worse xD Are you this nice to all people?
That's a (popular) way to see it For me it's always been more like explaining the universe, having an understanding for everything and seeing the connections. Though that pretty much only applies to quantum- and astrophysics. The problem was, I always hated German lessons and we didn't do literature in English class, but grammar and vocabulary (and not even pretty ones), so I never really got into literature. Now I am, because I can kind of connect how the Author wrote and in what time and place (s)he lived. But before that...not really. But I admittedly only really started appreciating classical literature after we read the most horrible modern book in existence. Seriously, it was bad. And then I think about how awesome /random people on the internet/ write, and how the author of that random book of horror got a nobel prize for it. And that's modern literature. That's why I started preferring classics xD I actually always talked about science with my dad and brother, and it was always lots of fun and put me in awe at our universe every time.
I watch the euronews channel when I eat at my gran's, because it's the most interesting program on when i have lunch xD

It#s just the Europe wide football cup. It's nothing I'm usually interested in, but hetalia makes everything different xD
I'm not taking credit that was by George Cleese (<-awesome)! that actually makes sense...meh. I'm still calling it handegg xD

Ah yes, it would so very much~ ^_^

Lol it's alright, being a writer I immediately spot mistakes like that XD Seee? English is hard soemtimes! XD Mhmm, I try to be nice to everyone. I don't see the use in rudeness (something that is majorly frowned upon here in the Charleston area XD)
Ah, I see how that works XD Physics always did that for me too, because everything fit so neatly together, but considering the way I was brought up I leave some of it to mysticism and just the plain old mystery XD Modern literature isn't too bad, you just need to know what to look for. My favorite author in the entire world, the man whose feet I would throw myself at and beg him to teach me how to write, is a modern literature author. At least modern in the sense that his books were published recently. Funny thing is I sort of graviate between classics and modern, because I hate some classics but love other, bu 've also been exposed to so many cliche plots and storylines of modenr literature that I can pretty much look at the back and tell whether it'l be good or not XD
Pfft sometimes my parents turn on the news, but you only get the good stuff really late into the night. Most of the time it's just politics. :I

Oh doesn't it? XD It's amazing what such a simpyl showcan do to twist your perception of things XD
Cleese...please tell me he's related to the amazing John Cleese

I'm not exactly a "nice" person per se. Or I could think that because most people I'm around are absolute morons and/or i just tease them xD How ,uch influence the way one is brought up makes! I was brought up to go more into the direction of science, and less to the arts, and look how that separated our two basic interests xD Who would that favourite author be? At the moment, mine is actually George deValier, also "modern" literature, but written in an awesome and descriptive and perfect way (he's on fanfiction, actually...he writes hetalia fanfictions, but really, really good ones, funny and plot...full xD) I generally read history books (good ones though) and fanfictions, at least at the moment. For me, the most tragic story I have ever heard about is Prussia's. Seriously, if I listen to the beginning of Roman (by Sound horizon ^^) and look at, for example, the Saat & Ernte picture by PunPuniChu (in one of her Tegaki dumps ), I get a churning feeling in my gut from sadness. Weird, but true. Dunno, history just makes for the most tragic of stories.
I'm actually interested in the politics part as well, because I want to figure out how it all works, or at least kind of. So I'm not really interested (well, I /do/ think it's funny how Angela Merkel talks xD), but I still want to know it. if that makes sense xD

It does, it does It makes the fates of countries so much more tragic xD On that note, my Ethics teacher said something funny today: "Jedes mal, wenn irgendwem fad war, hat er Polen angegriffen!", and I had to try so hard not to laugh my ass off, because i always thought Feliks was kind of a loser, and one of my friends looked at me and said "don't laugh, i know that's funny for you, but /don't/". That statement was awesome xD
I think I#m gonna bury a hole and go die in there. Seriously, two grave mistakes in a row? Well, at least I can say I was in a hurry this time. I actually had to leave for English class, but I wanted to quickly finish the message, so no one could close it, so I just rushed it. I was still late to class, but nobody cared anyways xD (if I make another mistake, please remember I have to rush every message so my laptop doesn't break down before I'm done xD)

Lol I'm only nice and polite to people I don't know. To my friends I'm a little Fritz and I'm known to be on of my bitchier friends. You know, the cold, sarcastic, cynical, witty little sucker who likes to tease and insult people. Thaaat's me XDD I was told by my parents to actually pick whatever subject I wanted, and I naturally graviated towards the arts because of creativity~ My favorite author is Patrick Rothfuss, a guy who has actually published books (which are large enough to kill a small cat, I might add XD) which are more "fantasy" themed, which I have always loved, but he tells the story in such an utteraly compelling and amazing way. These books are longer than Harry Potter, but I can't think of a single page that's wasted in them. I have lots of fanfiction authors, but one of my favorites is lilien passe, spelled just that way, because she made me cry while reading a story. And I don't mean regular tears, I mean I literally broke down and started sobbing and I had to run and bury my face in my pillow because I couldn't stop crying. And then I felt depressed for a week. That never happens XDDD
Yes, it sort of does~ I don't like politics much either but I think I need to know them or else I'll just constantly be led along without knowing how anything works.

...I would have laughed too XDD It was sort of a joke among my class at one point, where we were thinking of a step-by-step instruction book for future dictators/world rulers, and some one said: "When in doubt, attack France or Poland!" And then Italy XD
So that was John Cleese you meant? Ahh, clueless me XD Oh I'm not blaming you for any mistakes, I don't even proofread my own messages so you'll have fun picking out my mistakes as well XD

Oooh, that sounds a lot like me! I'm alaways hyper-realistic and sarcastic and overall like Spock's and McCoy's lovechild xD Unless I'm tired, then I just turn into a crazy, overecstatic mess who messes with other people's hair and shoelaces xD I've never considered myself awfully creative, I just have lots of excess imagination that flow into imaginary stories. What's your favourite book by him? I might read it on vacation when I can't access the web :3 lilien passe? *looks her up* I wanna see/read that story! ...Which one is it? There's so many! Ah, might as well read all of them :3 (though I would still like to know which is the super sad one xD)
That's exactly what I don't want to happen. that's why I think history is a practical thing, because if you look close enough you'll see it repeats all the time and then you can guess what will hapen in your future. As far as it looks to a laywomanlike i am, we're trudging slowly to a new Biedermeyer time, but I don't really know xD

If you ever even remotely finish writing that book, please show me somehow! I wanna read that xD You gotta include "Become an overpatriotic, self-involved dickhead who doesn't listen to his best Generals at some point", because most dictators I know did that *coughhitlercoughsaddamhusseincough* xD

OHMYHOD that smiley is awesome :3 My friend almost got a seizure upon seeing it because it's so awesome

Omg budddiiies~!! We could torment poeple allllll daaaay~ But when I'm tired I haven't had my coffee I'm a lazy slug who will not even move, she's so tired. But that's when I'm the super grumpy bitch because I have zero patience when I'm having a caffeine headache. Well I like both, he's only written two in his series but they're both amazing. [link] I dunno if you've ever seen them before or not...I would literally type the beginning of the book out for you because it's one of the best openings to a book I've ever read, but that link has a nice excerpt for you XD *sigh* I would awarn you not to read it, which I have tried to do in the past, but my friends never listen XD It's called October Twenty-Fourth, and even though it's AU it's heartbreaking still.
Lol yes certain things repeat and soemtimes I think people try to purposely emulate those from the past. Of course then you also have to get people to listen to whatever advice you have.

Hmmm, I certainly don't have it XD We did string together a bunch of instructions but I forgot who was supposed to make the book....that thing was really fun too. I remember the one I came up with, "Remember: Russia is very cold." (something Napoleon and Hitler seemed to constantly forget )

XDDDDD It's me a lot of times too XDD I'm a big resource of smileys here since I randomly look them up so I can use them in a conversation.

I'm only gonna reply about October Twenty Fourth now, because it's quarter past 1 am and I have school tomorrow and won't be able to write any particularly insightful things but OH MY GOD I'VE BEEN CRYING MY EYES OUT SINCE OVER AN HOUR NOW and I can't stop and why is it so horrifying?! The story's not even heartbreaking it's soul wrenching and just thinking about the title makes me cry more and I'm really trying not to sob so I don't wake my mom up and I know I'm rambling but this will haunt me for the most probably the rest of my life. I started bawling my eyes out when they first started fighting and things just went downhill from there. Oh god, seriously, I NEVER cry, I never do, only a single person in my entire class has ever seen me cry, but this...I think I need a tissue box...

GAAAH I TOLD YOU. FREAKING TOLD YOU. Gods no one ever listens to me when I try to warn them about that story XDD I can't even think about it right now, just remembering the ending is like, physically painful or something because my heart starts to hurt. Yes, haunting. That is the perfect word to describe this story because it will never, ever go away as long as I live. Hell I can't even read fics where Gilbert dies because of this story, it's too painful. And strange because I never cry either and to do it is totally alien to me.

Smileys are awesome!

Lolyep. I do it all the time and they hate me for it but I couldn't really care. Well now, I do happen to love all of those things. How ironic~ XDD And he is amazing, if you see those books I very much recommend them. ^^
YES. I KNOW RIGHT? I can barely even describe it, but I was feeling so bad while I was reading it that it was pulling on my hair and trying not to cry (it's something that I do when I get really sad, pull on my hair) but the ending had me this utter mess of tears and yet it was so. freaking. beautiful. I love that story because it's so well-written, yet a small part of me hates it x_x

Hmm, I'll try to write all of the ones that I remember down then.

They arrre~! So goo at displaying emotions~

I'm generally a quite picky person when it comes to food and drink xD I'll ask my gran to look if they're available in the library

Ironic, you get mad when people pull on your hair, and you do it yourself when you get sad...maybe you're trying to get rid of the sadness by getting angry *like a Freud* xD It is so incredibly well written, and actually has funny parts in it, too! But those make you even sadder, because you know it's gonna be over soon...btw, I found out that the girl who wrote is, also wrote Four Oh Two, a hilarious fic that has been residing in my favourite for a while xD

Please do so! I'm always in for some historical hilariousness xD

I'm always hesitant with smileys when I "talk" to new people (which I don't do exceptionally often), but I loosen up at some point, and if they do too, I'm happy

Heh, again it was how I was raised. When I was little my parents would always make me try weird stuff (I was able to eat sushi with chopsticks by the time I was five XD) and they always had a rule: you could just take one bite and if you didn't like it then it was alright and you didn't have to eat anymore, but if you did like it you were welcome to have some. So I'm very open to trying new things and I like a bunch of different foods because of it. ^^

I only get mad when other people do it, because only I'm allowed to pull on my pretty hair XD I say it's because when I get really emotional and it starts to hurt, like I'm so sad that it's actually painful, I pull on my hair. I think it's because I need some sort of physical pain to distract me from the emotional pain so it doesn't hurt as much. :/ Yes, she writes the best Prussia I've ever seen. I love him so much XD And Four Oh Two! Gosh one of my prompts was inspired by that. That is still in my opinion the funniest fanfiction I have ever read in my life, ever.

Yep, going slow though XD

Yaay~! Sometimes for me it's just that words are simply not enough, so I need some stupid, silly little smiley to accurately express my emotions.

I'm still not able to eat sushi with chopsticks, it always drops to the floor xD I was (still am) an extremely picky kid, so picky I'm still a pudding-vegetarian (=I don't eat meat because i think it tastes bad), though I do eat some chicken and some kinds of fish now. But that's a good trick from your parents

I'm really, really, really, really, REALLY rarely sad. I'm pretty much the happiest person I know. So I don't have that kind of stress-release method in case I get sad. If something REAL bad happens (as in, not just a story), I usual go into super-rational mode and look at the bright side, and believe me, I can find one in pretty much every probable situation. I think that#s the best "gift" my parents gave me into my crib (if that#s the correct metaphor -3-) And hell yeah, her Prussia is awesome! And her stories are generally extremely funny (even October Twenty Fourth has funny parts in it, you just get even sadder from them), like when Germany visited Neu Schwanstein with Austria instead of Prussia, and he comes home and Prussia asks "Well, which speech was it?" And then it turns out it was all of them, and twice, too xD

They are really helpful in also making people look more enthusiastic while chatting or similar
