The Genetic Pokémon
Mewtwo is the successor of a number of failed experiments to recreate Mew and later a more powerful version of Mew. It was born of fragmented Mew DNA combined with that of human DNA, most notably that of Cinnabar gym leader Blaine. This explains why it is the only Pokémon in existence that has gone through a physical childhood.
It is noted to have the ability to levitate, possess minds, alter weather patterns and communicate fluently with humans thanks to its unimaginable reservoir of psychic power. Mewtwo is often found resting in secrecy in order to conserve and cultivate this power...or it simply wants to be left to its thoughts.
Ambros doesn't particularly enjoy the presence of people or Pokémon, but he does seem to have a soft spot for Pokémon created by humans such as the Porygon line, Castform and Genesect. He has been seen entertaining a tiny Porygon Z as though it were a pet bird.
He has trained many years in isolation hoping to expand on his own the power his creators gave to him, as well as tame his own heart. From that search two new forms were born. After so much time in the dark he once again lays claim to the highest selection of stats when in these new forms.
Though he has come a long way, Ambros' personality is still incredibly unstable thanks to the nature of his birth. There are times when he is calm but will lash out for now freaking reason whatsoever. And then there will be times when you think he ought to be enraged, but he simply takes it with a placid face. The bouts of anger are huge and there is typically a lot of destruction, like a powerful child throwing a tantrum. However, if given the benefit of the doubt Ambros will pick up the pieces. He won't apologize, but he will rebuild. Because great power like his is a great responsibility and he intends to have complete control of it. Other than this, Ambros tends to brood and overthink things to an annoying extent once you get to know him. He's wise beyond his years, though, and absorbs applicable knowledge like a sponge.
Also not gonna lie, he has a huge soft spot for small children along with Pokémon of artificial origin just like himself.
Ambros has been captured twice, both times released. The only trainer he will take interest in is one who can make him stronger than any other. What he plans to do with that power is yet to be seen.
