Pity you didnΒ΄t take a picture if that new smile you mentioned, you would have spared me to look at any other gallery that may be created. All of those were wonderful! One of the girls needs to work on her feet - but hey I'm being uber picky. I've always rooted for Romania even though they fell a bit off the map in the gymnastics world for a while. I love their body type for gymnastics. I'm glad to see that the girls are flexible - I have to admit grace and flexibility come hand in hand.

I really like your portrait style. Is most of your commission work for portraits?

Yes, most is. I'd love to make money on the other stuff but ppl just admire it, not purchase it. The recent shoot was free though. My wife had a co-worker who got a new camera for Xmas. She asked if I'd help her how to shoot portraits. She brought her bro and his g/f as models. Thats who those shot are of (Kody and Hayle). The other (Cameron). She is my daughters best friend. I've always loved her eyes so I asked her to come along. Didnt make any money but at leats I got some decent shots off

my issue is that.. I've had a few photo gigs.. mainly family portraits or child portraits.. but that really isn't my strong suit. I love taking pictures of animals and still life (artsy fartsy stuff :]) But no one ever buys the pictures I'm most proud of.

Thats the way it is. Why buy that when you get buy stock photos for a buck. If ya wanna make money just keep honing your portrait skills. Key is to shoot from the right angle and get your models comfortable and relaxed. Look at a lot of others portrait work for ideas. Ive been shooting portraits for year but still look at others work for inspiration or ideas. .............hence why I come here
