Oh my goodness. At first I thought they were blurry photographs.
Is this what you aspire to do?
You know, now I will expect more from you, knowing that this quality is attainable.

Maybe later down the road, I'll be as good as this guy.
But nothing so serious for now.
I'll only try to wade deeper one pool depth at a time.

If I were to attempt something like this, I think I'd pass out from sheer horror.

----------

But hey. Were you at the American Idol thing Friday?

You know, I think you could tackle it. Maybe a tad less complex, but you could definitely do something close.

But hey back! I was definitely at the American Idol thing on Friday! Didn't you hear my enthusiastic cheers? Wait a minute... I saw you before the show started! Did your nervousness block it from your memory? lol

Everything from the moment I came into the drama room, to the moments after I stopped singing are all a daze. God, I didn't even realize how nerve racking it would be until then.

But I need an honest opinion. Was I at least decent? I wasn't the first to get eliminated, but I'm still dreading how I did.

I know I was like a robot up there, but the singing is my biggest question.

And I'm trying to expand what I paint. Everything I've painted, besides my first landscape, has been an attempt at realism.

And I'm kind of bored with that. I'm going to try some weird stuff now.

I already have a new watercolor idea formulating. A woman with here hair blowing past her face, and in the top leftmost corner and bottom leftmost corner are two male faces.

I'm going to make their expressions like a tragedy and comedy mask. Except their faces are really faint, like an illusion.

And her hair is different vibrant colors.

Something along those lines.

Yes, you were at least decent. I was watching for your eyes though, and I have to say that you were not only the only person to close their eyes during the chorus, but also the only person to close their eyes during almost the entirety of their song. But I jest. You were good. All those lip-synching sessions in Steuck's class really paid off.

I really like your idea for a watercolor. Not your typical style, that's for sure. If I remember correctly, you don't like doing faces too much. This will be a challenge! Onward brave sir Max!

Bluebird595 In reply to Craznicop [2009-04-08 15:12:19 +0000 UTC]

Alright, that's what I was shooting for. And I opened my eyes...

*whispers* twice...

but I saw people, so back under they went. The whole time I was singing though, the song was like on auto pilot, and in my mind I was saying, "Do something, anything. Move!"

But yeah.

The watercolor should be fun. I wonder if I can convince Mrs. Steuk that that should be one of my 4 main projects. hmmm.

lol, I know! You wrote a whole journal about her! I think you should bring her to school with you. If Christiana can do it, why not you?

And sank you, dahling. I really try to make a good impression.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Bluebird595 In reply to Craznicop [2009-04-08 04:03:37 +0000 UTC]

Well Christiana has the whole magic green belt to wrap around Effie.

It confuses the school administrators, so when they analyze Effie it actually passes to be a human being. That way it just looks like Christiana is walking a human.

Nothing suspicious about that.

But ya. School office people don't allow any animals without some lame excuse like it's a "guide dog" in "training".

So who won at the gallery?

I'm going to venture a few guesses.

First place was the Mr. Potato Head drawing.

Second place was the insanely awesome graphite self portrait of the Asian girl.

Third was the painting of the girl in front of a wave, with the blank speech bubble.

Was I close?

Well you don't have Mauls anymore.

Physics a trained hamster could pass....

no offense.

And once the Ap test is over, US history wont be a problem. And it's not like he gives a lot of hw anyways.

so that leaves you with precal.
And I could do your precal.

Besides. don't you want to paint or draw or scratchboard? A winter godess scratchboard would be awesome.

You know you want to...
