try seeing the dark light and mid tones and the different shapes of the hair you don't need to be right on you just ned to giv a natural look to it.

for fav is +fav had the vertical point before and after don't know the name in English sorry, had always those point for everything( avatar, emoticons)
and if your are talking about how to had friends is the button +deviantwatch
or if its for the avatar of a friend, its :iconthenameofyourfriend:

There is a lot of tutorial in (Resource & stock - tuto -search hair).
I just put a PSD file for "Cold Cell" I think is most easy for you to have the right color you want.
