Hey sorry for the late reply been out of state recently. But since you asked I'm headed to Oklahoma in a week to start BT.
Yep you guessed it. I joined the army HOOAH!! You're the first I've told about this, well on DA that is.
And to answer the obvious questions you may have.
1) Yes, I'm serious
2) No, I'm not kidding
3) They will take me around the world, pay off my student loans in three years, I get to blow up shit and they pay me to do it.
4)No, this wasn't a thoughtless decision, I've been planning it for years now.
5) I will be part of 14-Tango (Patriot Missile Defence)I basically fire telephone sized missiles in the air and shoot down planes and short ranged enemy missiles. And to answer your follow up question, no we don't fire at things on the ground.
6) I might be deployed to Iraq or Afganistan however that would be a serious waste seeing as they don't have any enemy planes or missiles to shoot down.
7) I leave for Basic training next week.
8) I have prepared for BT as best I can and, no, I still think the drill sargent will whoop my ass.
9) I will enter as a PFC (private first class) and hopefully move up the ranks in time.

oh, hey.. you wont believe what i did.
as a leader or should i say dictator, i took the time to say everything in the proposal of my project, i pulled them to a shameful state. and did it in front of the class and of the mentor.
in the video, nilagyan ko nang qoutation na talagang tumama sa kanilang mga gumagamit sa amin,
"they wont hurt you 'til theyre done using you"
wow, our mentors eyes got that flash when reading it.

at the next project, i did something that made half the class very happy, somehow.
talagang sa characters palang, kiatng kita na ini-insulto ko ang mga classmates kong walang magawa,
the first character shows the facial characteristics of one of them, the mouth parang bulldog, the eyes with the glasses and basta kamokhang-kamokha niya.
then the second is the one i've just told you about, she calls me master, i impersonated her by a doll that looks like her and all she did in the story, itinali lang sa kahoy na parang aso. hehehe
ang sama ko......
tapos, panay ang text ko sa mentor ko sa mga nangyayari so my plan worked, my mentor decided to make the next project individual!
whoho, half of us really jumped from freedom...we shouted and said "freedom at last!" whehe,
still got more to talk, lots of things happened within the class.. maybe next time.
