Favorite TV shows: Lately I've been watching a lot of documentaries (I love "American Pickers", "Pawn Stars", loved "WWII In HD"). Recently I began rewatching "The Muppet Show" on DVD. And I still think that a lot of older shows are great.
Favorite bands / musical artists: Joe Hisaishi
Favorite books: See Favorite Writers below. I tend to reread the five central "Rings" books (Tolkien) and the "Dune" chronicles annually. Just finished reading "Hybrids" by Whitley Strieber, planning to read Orwell's "1984" next.
Favorite writers: JRR Tolkien, Richard Bach, Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child, Stephen King (but I don't care for his movies), F Paul Wilson (his Repairman Jack books are great), Haruki Murakami, Mike Resnick, Robert A. Heinlein, more
Favorite games: Don't play many games anymore, but Burgertime, Dig Dug, Joust and Donkey Kong Junior were cool.
Favorite gaming platform: Playstation 2; Call me oldschool but I wanna get my hands on an old Colecovision and Atari 2600, too
Tools of the Trade: An overactive imagination, wordprocessor, and plenty of caffiene
Other Interests: Reading, writing, anime, manga, movies, sci-fi, fantasy, cryptozoo, japan, embracing my Geekdom

Operating System: Windows 7. It came bundled with my new laptop. And I still don't know why it matters.

MP3 player of choice: Philips GoGear 2GB (less by choice than out of necessity) or Windows Media Player

Shell of choice: Like a seashell? Conch shells are cool, I suppose...

Wallpaper of choice: A photo-of-the-day from National Geographic's website, but it changes regularly.
