Truth be told, my terribad scanner is the reason I've let my shading skills fall to the wayside. Nothing annoys me more than spending six hours shading something only to watch my scanner derp out something that looks like I did it in a coloring book. But there's a nice feeling to working with traditional media. Considering saving for markers now.
