Free time..I have some!! I can stitch fast since I have my stand(stitch with 2 hands) and I'm always very organized. I only stitch when things are very quiet. People here know not to bother me when I'm in a stitching mode. I really should figure out how many stitches I can do in a hour!! LOL!!

Yeah, that would be a cool way to compare stats like speed =] How exactly do you stitch with both hands?

I don't need the surrounding environment to be quiet because I'm always with my Ipod, listening to music =]

Since both hands for free with the stand-- I can keep on hand on top and the other below-- thus stitching with 2 hands thus making things faster!!
With the hoop-- you have to go down from the top and reach around go back up and go back down again. It requires a bit more energy!! Plus it does twist your wrist constantly and I can't do that anymore or risk damaging my wrist again!!

Thanks..... its on hold for at least a week.
Got my cortisone shot a few hours-- doctor told be not to stitch for a week-- I plan on listening to that!!

lol I read you clear, believe me. When I got my tetanus shot (years ago!!), I was told I couldn't make much effort with my left arm, but I thought: since I was righthanded and didn't need my left hand for much, I could take that afternoon for stitching and watching tv (my friends were all at school anyway...).

The next day it hurt so much I couldn't move an inch. I was so glad it was weekend...

Anyway, I'll be glad to see the development behyond said week. Looking foward to it actually =]
