Thank you so much! Sorry it took me a while to respond to you. I first created an account back in the mid-2000's, maybe even early in the 2000's. I remember showing it to my dad. But it was only recently after I created a new account (the email I used for my old one got deleted when MSN changed everything and I didn't have much there so I didn't really care about recovering the account) and took the DNA test that I finally decided to buy a membership. And things have kind of exploded from there. I had no idea how much I was going to be able to find.

I took my DNA test last year. There were no big surprises there, but there were several in my tree. For one thing, I had no idea how much information I was going to be able to find on my dad's side of the family. I bet it will take me a good 5 years to get everything nailed down and fact checked if I continue at the pace I'm going. On my mom's side it was very limited, I assume because many records were destroyed during WWII. They all came from Poland before the war.

I did! My tree is actually very big. I have it set to private, though, because I've noticed a lot of misinformation is being spread around by public trees, such as an alleged ancestor who lived to be 145 years old. You would think more people would catch the obvious issue there. I plan to make it public once I finish fact checking it, which will take several years most likely.

Yes! I have some weird stuff in mine that doesn't make sense because I got it from other trees, so until I can sort it out I don't want to be responsible for spreading it around even more.
