ow wow that's some big reply, It would make me really mad if I wrote a big comment and found out you had me blocked because of what Altair think of me..
I have an habit to copy my replies and paste them on another account to protest against the unfair and time wasting behavior some some deviants have when they just say what they think and then block their opponent to prevent a reply and waste their time..
It's not about harassment as Altair said, it's just about having good manners for a fair and respectful discussion.. Even tho it's against the rules of DA, I am aware, but still I am just doing what I believe is right..
I am not against the depiction of killing in art, some of my pictures are just about that (they have a mature tag)..
I've explained why I reported it on the original deviation..
I dunno if the comments were deleted or not, sorry 
I actually like pictures of animals being killed and fight pictures with beasts (I've always did since I was a kid), I suppose I would have been a very dilligent hunter if I was born in the past.. I'm sure hunting is something I would enjoy but I'm not doing it because I am not a natural predator who can do it correctly with my own body as a weapon..Β
I won't risk making a real detailed answer cuz it will take an hour and I'm not feeling like creating a new account in case you blocked my other accounts too..

and you could have just send me a note instead of posting on my wall where i don't go for discussions? Other people made a place to discuss. i didn't. So if you come towards me for a discussion while i haven't made a spot, i would prefer a note
and yeah i have not read the original comments, because, honestly, i can understand if Altair blocked it because they probably dont want to be reminded of a bad time whenever they want to look back to the comments.
So, go ahead and explain, bc i do not block simply bc of a different opinion.

Basically, we had a discussion..
Altair was very civil during our discussion at first..
I really don't mind slaughter pictures.. well I was a bit pissed at the character depicted because of the disgust expression she had (I mean if you don't like killing don't do it, it's not like it's necessary)..
my characters usually have a disgusted or smug expression when they kill too but they are meant to be villains not good guys..
but well, not everyone will perceive that.. so it really was just a pet peeve and I wouldn't be all upity about it.
The problem isn't very much the deviation in itself.. It was in the description..Β
Altair put herself as some sort of victim of harassment from imaginary animal lovers that eat meat before anyone even commented and was all like the only ones that can say anything are vegans (she probably didn't expect a vegan to come)..
So since I am vegan, I took it as an invitation even tho I didn't care much..
Her main defense against the mild mature tag (which really isn't a big deal) was basically that it was natural and normal, etc.. and that anyone thinking that easily manipulated youth shouldn't be presented to that imagery is basically a city dweller completely disconnected to the rural lifestyle..
So as I said, we had a discussion and at some point I thought I wanted to know what DA moderators would think about the issue and thus I reported it (basically it was an experiment).. Because I didn't want Altair to be surprised if it is put a mature filter , I told her that I reported it..
She seemed annoyed as if it was a big deal even tho she admitted that vegans should have the right to be offended or not by it.. (vegans only because the others would be hypocrites according to her (I kinda agree))Β
Let's imagine a vegan don't want to see pictures of animals being killed.. (not my case) wouldn't it be normal for it to be forced a filter and warning for violence against animal for DA to be a more welcoming place?
THen the deviation was given a mature filter so basically a mod agreed with me.. I didn't even know about it..Β
ANd some time later, Altair put up a new deviation to self advertise because she had been able to rescind the decision.
"Justice has won!"
Now, I knew it was a delicate case, It clearly wasn't a case of justice winning by any measurable standards and I tried to explain her with as much tact as possible ..
It was just the story of a mod that decided that animal slaughter was fine for 13 years old or was harassed by a popular artist that think that to rescind the decision of another mod and the artist in question (that pretends she was vegan but left the movement because of the annoying ppl in despite that when you're vegan you're not in for the vegans but for the animal) that seem to really love making it all about her as if she was the victim of something when in reality nothing bad happened to her..
"Justice has won!"
She even said that I was an hypocrite and completely ignored our previous discussion, my reasoning and her own admission that vegans have the right to pissed.
Justice has won?
Well at least I was baffled and very disappointed by her behaviour.Β
