I'm not so much an artist as an art appreciator. I dabble in sketching and creative writing but seeing all these fantastic deviations on this site has pretty much intimidated me out of showing any of my works. I just like to show my close friends and family. Art is a wonderful thing, it allows you to enter another world. The world would be a lot duller without it, that's for sure.

that's a very rude thing to say. i'm sure there are things that you like that others don't. there is no right and wrong, only opinion, and if you don't have a nice one you should keep it to yourself. i'm not some stupid teeny-bopper, I just enjoyed the books, and read them before all the hype. personally i think it's been over-commercialised, and maybe she's not the greatest writer, but she comes up with engaging and heart-warming ideas. and The Host was written by Stepahnie Meyer, it's in my opinion better than twilight and a wonderfully original and clever book. one book shouldn't define an author, nor should any book like it provoke unnecessary negative comments. I repeat, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it. this site is for art and respect of it, not trash-talking. i think you should grow up.
