# About me

A life unquestioned may be a life unworth living, but a life unlived is certainly unworth questioning. I'm working on the living part.

My camera reminds me that the world is full of beauty and there's plenty left to see and discover, that no matter how tedious daily life and routine becomes, there is always adventure to be had and beauty to be seen, and in that beauty we can feel connected and fulfilled because we're make of the same stuff that we marvel and wonder at. I don't think my photography does this feeling justice in any way, but it's a serviceable reminder, and is a testament to my journey through life.

I'm currently trying to branch out into various arts that I've neglected during my years in university. I'm re-learning how to draw and paint, I'm constructing my portfolio to apply to VCC's Fashion Arts program and their Jewellery Art and Design program, I'm gathering up the money to start creating a simple line of dresses and accessories and eventually open an Etsy store, I'm attempting to pick my flute and guitar back up... I don't really know what direction my life is going in at the moment, but I do know that I don't want to neglect the things that enrich my life just to focus on one narrow, academic dream.
