'Kay so I'm not really an artist, unless you consider chemistry as a creative art of sorts. But I do both love and appreciate art as much as I do finding myself crawling underneath my favourite blanket and reading a book with a nice hot cup of tea in hand! 🍵📖😍
For those curious about my username, Curious Cilli. The inspiration came from one of my many favourite classic characters, Alice from Lewis Carroll's 'Alice in Wonderland.' Like me, she is ever so curious and believes that nothing is impossible. I guess you might also say that I'm slightly bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret... All the best people are! ^.^
Curiosity aside, my artwork (and others to come) expresses a mixture of differing art styles and art types as I rarely like to stick to one style. Although most of which will be traditional works of art as opposed to digital art since I'm more familiar with the former. I also find that most of my work, while not appearing so to others, is a reflection of how I feel as this is how I like to express myself (wow, that was kind of deep 😶)
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy browsing through my artwork that is currently on display. Feel free to favourite, share and watch and in turn I'll try and get more of my art done and uploaded whenever possible ❤️

Zombified. I've been working, watching Gravity Falls for the first time and battling with insomnia. In hindsight, probably wasn't a good idea to make it marathon sesh.

And I am currently spending my last night in Canada in a hotel (the AirBnB I was staying at with my family lost power two days ago and still does not have it, so mum booked the hotel last night).

And here I thought Marik was the underrated one. I loved Bakura! He was so adorable and just so different...then you turn around and find out he's the reincarnated version of an Egyptian thief. Talk about my mind being blown.

To be honest, I think both Bakura and Marik were underrated in the anime. I was especially disappointed that we didnt get to see much of Bakura in the new movie

I know the new film was mostly about Kiba's obsession with Atem and Yugi's missing him, but I do think they could've at least given Bakura some more lines. Since he and Yugi share a tie to the past and the Millennium Items, he'd have something more to say.

Question, artist to not so much an artist (me). So I'm drawing a semi chibified me for my profile pic and I'm trying to decide whether to colour my hair brown or leave it white with a slight purple hint. One looks elegent and the other looks smart. What do you think?
I have asked others and done a test draw for both and both look really good.
