I study philosophy! Also get a bit of work in of course. Only doing traditional art these days, watercolours, oilpaintings. Can't be bothered uploading them here, I do check in for updates as you can see.

more expensive to do traditional art, no?

you upload 'em at all? or did you mean just not on DA? cause i figured the point was to show off stuff here, since there's not a whole lot of other places to show off personal art.


i honestly haven't done any art in so long at least..a few years. least not anything that i was happy with or considered art.

i've written a few poems, but that's about it.

working a crappy job, but it pays the bills. just barely lol.

I'm gonna save the world.
Yes, more expensive, but in the end more exposure for/interest in my art.
Also, you learn in a different way. I only upload to Facebook once in a while, usually I sell them before I take pictures, and Deviantart has mainly been to keep in contact with artgroups and online friends.

Are you happy with not doing art? I mean, if you could, would you do more of it?

but i hope it works out well in whatever capacity you use it in.

makes sense, i'd love to try traditional painting..but no real money to experiment with it. but that's like the first type of art everyone does...so it's got a special spot.

where do you sell em? and you sold them all? good prices?

i figured that much about DA since you haven't submitted.

Of course its a gamble with canvases etc., but so far I'm selling and at a good price too.
Mostly I have them in restaurants and friends' friends ask for paintings, also did a poster for a local competition which is in print now.
So its not enough to make a living from - yet.

yeah, lol i'm not a good person to talk about gambling with. i don't gamble. cept on the occasional lottery jackpot

yeah, i don't know how some artist get hired, some really suck but they are popular and some are great yet don't get work. makes no sense to me.

but for me anyways..i just have no inspiration most of the time, and even when i have some..the outcome is kinda blah.

my gf makes pieces, most are photo manips of face wise.. and others just pieces to do with book characters. they are ok, but i don't think they warrant the praise people leave on her page or giving faves to her. kinda is off putting when i put in effort and real thought and she does something involving the hunger games, twilight or other popular books and they aren't particularly that great..it just seems wrong in a way.

kinda how stupid people on reality shows get paid millions, but smart or other hard working types barely can make 15k a year.USD

a few days ago i saw a picture that showed that your artwork tempus furgit looks very (a way too lol) similiar to an other artwork from that evoke dude and they said they told you that. is it like you were ripped or is it like you ripped from that dude!? if you are the the one who stole the artwork i think it would be fair to just make a statement and say sorry to the other artist ôô

Ehh, if it was from a 'dude' at Evoke, I would know, as I am the gallery director. Anyway, the case will be clear soon, as I will be uploading the full .psd. May I just ask what made you assume that I have ripped? I think you have misunderstood something along the pathway my friend.

In my head mainly!
Its been pieced together using a few other images.
Such as specific textures and objects.

I'm starting a series of them.

Your new pictures get more and more impressive!
Its almost like an aerial view of a landscape that has formed an image.
