One question: what do you use to make your pictures? Anyways awesome work man!

Well, right now, since my tablet is lost and I have nothing good to use to color my pictures traditionally. I draw the line art part of the shading with a simple red (Dixon Ticonderoga) pencil and a cheap mechanical pencil, I usually use old printing paper or scrap paper to draw on.
I then color and add details using the photo editing application that can be downloaded for free at Gimp.org. I scan various textures because I like to use my own stock instead of someone else's.
TL;DR: Pencils for lineart, Gimp for color.
