No problem Eh, it was ok, like any other day No worries I mean, since we don't get to talk to each other often, I could try and see how you're doing, right?

I guess it's been a busy season this one I got into a music class around august (well after the classes had started), and I completed that first year anyway... mostly becouse it was kind of a mess anyway, so it wasn't very taxing Supposedly, next level will be tougher, though. With that, I also started playing piano, with I've been always interested, and it'll be useful if I try to use programs like FL Studio at some point in my life. Kinda had to stop practicing after classes ended for the year becouse busy house. I also proved once again that I AM dumb, by also enrolling for the paint class on that same school The idea is to take music classes on the morning and paint classes on the afternoon, and try to match as many days as humanly possible, so I don't have to go every day of the week, but we'll see how that plays out... Oh, and now I have an android-based phone, so I can FINALLY play some games I've been interested in for a while, like Puyo Puyo Quest and Idolmaster CG Starlight Stage

And, damn... if that's "to say the least", must be tough If you wanna say something, you can send me a Note here... I mean, I'm not sure if I can help, but I can at least lend you an ear (... or my eyes, since it's written?) Either way, hope things get better on your end

Congratulations on completing the first year! That's cool that you're learning the piano. I've always had an interest in learning how to play too, except I have stubby little fingers and exactly 0 musical talent. I hope things mellow out a bit so you can practice more. And joining both classes doesn't make you dumb; it just means you're ambitious. That's an admirable quality. In fact, can I borrow some of your ambition? You obviously have a lot of artistic ability. It might be a lot of work, but I'm sure you'll do great.

Congrats on the new phone too I'm glad you can finally play those games. What model is it?

It basically comes down to my stepfather being a horrible, disgusting human being (and I use the term human loosely) and the fact that we're trapped in the land of backward, inbred white trash lol. Thank you, though; that's so sweet of you. I hope you know the same goes for you. You can talk to me whenever, I'm always happy to listen or read lol (provided I'm online, which will hopefully be more often, especially since I'm gonna try to build something of a presence online).

Thanks Yeah, you can take some of my ambition, it might help to stop me from putting more on my plate than I can deal with just becouse I like it Also, I just started (and so far still only deal with) simple children songs, and that helped a lot, so, if you feel like giving it a try, you could look into those short songs with simple melodies to start with

A Galaxy J2 ... and just 4 games kinda ATE most of the 4Gb of internal memory of the phone (... but I still like them, so can't delete them )

That's a good idea. I don't actually have access to a piano (besides the one in church, but ugh), but if I ever get my hands on a cheap keyboard or something, I'll remember that.

Hey, that's cool, I have a Galaxy as well. And yeah, that's the problem with mobile phones, the storage goes really quickly. Have you considered getting an SD card? Most Androids have a slot in the back where you can insert one. (I have a different Galaxy model, so I'm not 100% yours does, but it should.)

Yeah, more or less . I've been planning on saving up and getting an apartment or something, but the problem is, when I had a job, I wasn't allowed to save any of my earnings for myself. So I'll have to find a way of bringing in income without him or my mother knowing. I've been looking into selling short stories on Amazon (hence why I want to gather some sort of small following). It sounds a bit too good to be true, but I'll just have to write something and see how it pans out.

I understand. I'm the same way with certain things. I'll bitch and ramble on about things that annoy me, but if something really bothers me, I usually don't say too much about it. Still, I appreciate that I can talk to you.

By the way, on the piano thing, I just remembered to check the name of the book I've been using. It's "Suzuki Piano School volume 1 new international edition", which is both the book with scores for songs like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Row Your Boat, and a CD with the songs being played so people can compare what they play with how it's supposed to sound. If you can find it or some site to illegally download it =B and you learn how to read music scores (not too hard, though it takes some practice to get used to it), I'd recommend it

Yeah, I already got a 32Gb Micro SD (... my savings... my wallet still hurts! ) but I just don't really know how to config it so data of things that are installed IN the phone can be shared between the internal memory and the SD... This being my first touch device and all...

That's... BS I COULD recommend you started taking commissions and asked to be paid through PayPal, like I'm planning to do (and got to do on a few things already)... but, as far as I know (which is not much) you need a bank account and an active credit card to be able to use the money you save there, so... Not sure it'd be useful for the "without them knowing" part

Hmm. Well, I know you have to format the SD first before you can use it with the phone. Or are you talking about installing apps on the SD? Supposedly Android OS version 6.0 will let you "adopt" an SD card as essentially part of its internal storage. I actually went into my own phone to have a look at this, but I had no such option. Of course my SD is already formatted and has data on it, and I'm running 6.0.1, so either of those could be the issue. I did find this www.howtogeek.com/114667/how-t… if it's of any help at all.

Yeah, I was thinking of taking render commissions in addition to selling stories. But yes, the whole needing a bank account thing does throw a bit of a wrench in it. I can get to the bank on my own, but you need money to actually open up an account. I don't know, I'll figure something out eventually.

Yeah, kinda... and, speaking of the phone, one of the games I was playing is an Idolmster game, and the series is region-locked to Japan, so I had to pirate it... And, at midnight, after like 2 weeks of playing it, it detected that my Google Play account is not Japanese, so I can't play until I fix that... ... Gonna guess that Puyo Puyo Quest is gonna follow soon... At least I still have Pokemon Trozei 2 Shuffle and Metal Slug Attack... Yeah, it's still a pretty big loss to me...

By the way, that reminds me: Lately, I've been playing a game called "The Binding of Isaac" ("Wrath of the Lamb" expansion, to be precise). The game has a lot of religion themes all over the place and black humor as the only thing to hold back the very dark tone of the game, so, maybe you'll like it? (There's "TBoI: Rebirth" which is an updated re-release out already, and there seems to be an "Afterbirth" expansion/follow-up in the works) Warning: It's a zelda-like Roguelike, so expect the RNG to screw you up several times if you try it
