hello! sorry to bother you about this but your blog is the closest thing i could find to an answer online...you see, while searching more the 100th time about getting a replacement for the EasyPen i405 or fixing it, i got into a journal entry of you talking some years ago about how it sucked but also how you fixed it. My question is, is buying a new pen worth it?? or is it fixing it worth it? because i've been trying to do so for the last two years since i got the tablet and it has been impossible, it worked for three months and then it stopped, also whenever i changed the battery, the next day i would see the stylus pen and it would be all white inside and with the battery with its wrapping totally messed up (i'm not sure how to explain it?? i'm not really good with English), plus, in the case i fix it, i can't find the driver for Windows 10 anywhere online so i'm not sure what to do.. also if your answer is that it's better to buy a new one, do you know what can i do with this tablet i have?? because i would feel terrible putting it on the trash or selling it to someone knowing that the pen doesn't work. Thanks in advance and i'm sorry for this D:!!

The easypen isn't too bad, but I'd recommend buying something else. I found updated drivers online, but as for the pen, I have no idea how good the replacements are. You can try getting another one and seeing what happens. . .
As for the white stuff inside, that's battery acid. Once you have a ruptured battery, it can effect other batteries later on.
