Argh, it must be hard for your dual degree diploma, wishing you some courage. How far from "school" are you ?
I also have to admit studies takes me a lot of time too, as I have severalcourseworks to work on whereas I'm not used to the educational system of the British University I'm going to. But well !
By the way I'm still in London until christmas holidays, but I already went back home twice (about once per month) to see relatives.
Any news of empzt ?

Everything's fine here except I'm revising my exams, which is why I am not getting on deviantart very often either. Also discovered a new game which is called League of Legends: if you like DOTA you might like this one as well (free to play).

oh and by the way, new tip for you: try to get on lockerz.com if not already done, it's some kind of website where you can get some nice stuff for "watching" videos (such as videogames and accessories). I'm about to get something like a free xbox360 controller ^^

I am pretty busy with studies at the moment, but fortunately I still have time to concentrate on my deviations ;
I've actually finished one collab but I hesitate to submit it right now

About School Rumble Z : I saw the last chapters and I agree with you, Jin Kobayashi made a total mess with the original plot -_-'
That's why I'm looking forward to see more of your deviations (especially School Rumble's )

Studies, eh? School is good. I wish I could go back to college and start my Art degree. Good for you.

As for your collab, don't be ashamed of it. Self-conciousness is the bane of all artists, in my opinion. You should be proud of what you do, and what you make, and not care what other people think. That is what art is all about.

Ya, JK totally screwed himself, IMHO. As for more School Rumble deviations, I'm only gonna post one last page to the project, an epilogue page, and then that's it. Oh, and maybe one last page too that has nothing to do with my SRP. But other than that, I'm mainly working on Saki projects/ Anything else that sparks my fancy. Btw, speaking of Saki, tell me what you think of her.

Also, thank you for replying to my comments/journals. It makes me feel really appreciated. I mean, I have a couple dozen watchers, but only a handful of them really respond to anything I do. The more talk that transfers between you and me really is helpful.

Now, as for mangas/animes i like. Lets see...

I"S is the best manga I have ever read. Period. I love Monster so far, on the fifth book now. School Rumble is good too, but you already know that. I definately like Chrono Crusade and Midori Days. Case Closed is good too, except it gets boring and repetative fast.

Animes is a totally different story tho. I love Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop. Woot! Hell Girl is fan-f*ing-tastic too. DBZ is okay, but kinda slow for my tastes. Evangelion is good too. So is GTO. And 'no' I can't stand Excel Saga. Higurashi is one of my all time favorites, the manga AND the anime. Afro Samurai was good too. Inu-yasha sux, but Sesshomaru doesn't in it, so it balances out.

Now Anime movies are pretty simple: I love Paprika, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Princess Monanoke, Origins: Spirits within, Akira, Evangelion the depressing movie, Barefoot Gen, AND My Neighbor Totoro (The old one, not the faggy one with Dakota Fanning).

Basically anything that doesn't have to do with supernatural stuff, and can consist of everyday living is awesome to me. I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff. The reason why I"S is sooooo good. Monster as well. You should try reading it sometime, I recomend it.

Well, It's not really that I feel ashamed of it ;
however it is about a character I've already drawn two times on the bounce recently , so submitting it now would make my gallery monotonous in my opinion, unless I submit another deviation (which is almost finished, shades and lights are missing) just before it.

About Saki : I find her rather cool but to be honest I believe she would be even better with a deeper cloth and accessories design : jacket, belt, guns, pendants, etc.

Apart from that, it seems that we have mangas and animes in common, like Midori Days (by the way, have you heard of "Love and Collage" (or Ai Kora), from the same author ? It is rather funny, too)
I find DBZ rather slow, and a bit old too ;
GTO's great for me, even if I haven't see the entire story yet
I found Afro samurai well drawned but somehow monotonous, oh well...
Higurashi is also part of my favorites ! Who's your favorite character ?
And even if I saw it only once, I kept a good impression of Princess Mononoke

The reason I don't draw more on Saki is both because she doesn't need it, and because I'm just too lazy. But maybe in the future, it might happen. Also Saki doesn't like guns, or i just don't want her to use them. It's more psychotic with knives and chainsaws.

Yeah, Afro Samurai was monotonous, i never saw it that way. No i haven't heard of Love and Collage, is it good?
Mion is my favorite character off Higurashi. Then Keiichi, and then Shion. Have you watched the whole series, season two as well?

Yeah, I only saw princess mononoke once too, and I can't remember to much about it, but I do know that i loved it.

Are there any other manga's you recommend?

Haha, Mion is my favorite as well and yes, I've watched the whole series ; it is more thoughtful that I've expected (when watching the first season I was like "Oh my god what's going on ?! I don't understand a thing about why and how this is happening !" )

Désolé de t'avoir entraîné là dedans ^^' je pensais que ça aurait été sympa de garder un souvenir avec le premier Deidara sur lequel je tombe à la Japan Expo en plus avec la chaleur et la visibilité réduite données par le masque, je crois que parfois j'avais du mal à m'y retrouver
mais j'avais quand même pu remarquer et "ouaah"-er les langues sur tes mains !
