Hey everyone! Thank you for stopping by <3I'm not really an artist but I love looking at all the wonderful creations on here.
I thought I'd start a new hobby and start learning how to draw so don't expect any masterpieces just yet!
I'm a bit of a big film buff with a love of foreign cinema (mostly Korean thrillers!). If you like to discuss movies or have a Letterboxd account feel free to add me on there or on Twitter if you just fancy a chat about anything, don't be shy as I can get bored or lonely too!
Most of my art to begin with will be film related or to do with games that I love as I learn the basics of digital art before adventuring into more expressive art once I've gained a grasp of more techniques. I've got a long way to go but I'll do my best to improve with every piece that I do.
The work that I see on this website is incredibly awe-inspiring and I have so much more appreciation (than I already did) to artists as the amount of passion, work, time and effort that goes into creating art is much more intensive than I could have ever imagined!
If you see any mistakes I'm making or feedback to give me then I'd love to hear from you, it's the best way to help me improve <3

Digitally, I got myself a graphics tablet as a Christmas gift
And I know some of the basics of photoshop but that's about it,
so any help would be super useful ^_^

I suggest you look at some of the step by steps and tuts in this group .
Most of them are very specific,
so you may also want to watch a few general guides and tutorials
of the list below.
LineArts This guy has some good timelapses and LineArt tutorials - good for a more comic-like style
Realistic On this channel you can learn from a genious of an artist - though she only does realistic stuff
Anime Last but not least you should have a look at this guys tutorials and WIPs (both on YouTube and DA). He's an awesome anime artist ^^

I got the HUION 1060PLUS v2.
I know the Wacom ones are meant to be better but I thought it seemed like a decent beginners one
