Well... you will have alot of insults.... just warning you now.. And you will go in at least.... 3 or 4 times a year... even if Obama said that you wont... And you will needed knee surgery when you are older..

i've already had knee surgery and I really don't care about what people say about my choice of career. My life has exposed me to many veterans and reservists. I know that the army has changed greatly since most of them were in but I also have had the privilige of knowing several that got out and are now reservists. They served in Iraq or Afganistan. I attend a military school as you know. I have had full exposure to the various branches as the faculty here come from all four branches. The president of my school is a Major General (Retired) of the Marines. The former commandant was a LTC in the airforce and the current one was a major in the army. Our technology director was in the navy. The assistant commandant was a CSM in the army and his last tour of duty was the CSM at West Point. He wrote the NCO chain of command. I have had full exposure to all the branches and am fully aware of the situation.

No... A retired marine is a dead marine..... You will say former marine... And if you say that in front of a marine....... Run...... My father is a marine... so.... Yeah he almost killed a guy for calling him a retired marine... But the same goes for army... A retired army (person) is a dead person..... Just watch out for that...
