So I thought I should let you know that I was stalking, er I mean watching you draw in the arts and craft room, via the webcam feed from the House of Blues on Saturday Looked like you were having a great time!

Oh really?! I WAS having a GREAT TIME in the Arts & Crafts room! Was that room your idea? If so, THANK YOU! I can't go more than an hour without drawing and I was nearing my limit LOL. I came with the great JOHNPAULTHORNTON, who won one of the five Wacom tablets (he did an awesome little Rembrandt rendering on the DA Muro in the adjacent room). How did you find me on DA? My badge? Just wondering. Thank you for stopping by my gallery. I'm flattered and honored, you being a Director of Community Operations no less DA is operating wonderfully, community wise seems to me. That is a tribute to you! DA is THE PLACE to see the latest and greatest in the visual arts. It challenges you to become better and lets you know that you are not the only one with such images in your head! LOL All the best, Dan (I've never been stalked before-as far as I know. I like it! hee hee hee)

Thank you for the comment. And Yes!, Camille Claudel is one of my favorite movies, as well. I'd love to photograph Isabelle Adjani. I had a chance to see a large display of Rodin's work at the East Wing of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., when his collection was on tour a number of years ago.

I wish you could photograph Isabelle Adjani too! She is just stunning isn't she?! So is your model, Helena Sweet. Wow, what a look! I am a huge Rodin fan. I own more books on Rodin than most CITY libraries LOL. I have seen his work in D.C. as well, also in Los Angeles here, and the sculpture garden at Stanford University. Check out the DVD of "Rodin's Gates of Hell". It documents the bronze pouring of that monumental piece. Darkmatterzone, your gallery of photography is simply breathtaking. Congratulations. Keep up the great work! All the best and continued success!-Dan

Thank you for the kind words. I liked your werehyena hybrid submission for the Splice contest. Keep up with the good work...continue to challenge yourself. And while everyone else is doing manga, you do what will always be important: good ole' drawing! I wish you all the best and continued success. -D

Thank you for the kind words. I don't believe there is anything more beautiful and dynamic (and a challenge for the artist) than the human figure. I love to do hybrid forms: 1/2 human, 1/2 ? I'm in a very sculpture mood lately but also working on illustrations for a children's story that I've written as well right now, so I guess I'm traveling between the 2D and 3D worlds LOL.

That is awsome, It's rare to see multi-talents on dA usaly they will just draw, or paint, or photograph, or sculpt (well usally sculpters draw or sketch aswell :-p). You sketch, draw, write AND sculpt. Going to be keeping an eye out for your work.

You have such an amazing imagination. I love your map people and the merwomen. I think the sea turtle is my favourite one! I hope to see more of your work soon, it's so nice to see someone using their imagination in a traditional media.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I rack my brain to come up with images that are engaging. I am currently experiencing an especially productive phase. It is exciting and very exhaustive at the same time. I am glad you stopped by. I will do my best not to disappoint.
