You're welcome, of course - it was great to see the Grrrlz make a comeback. I am rarely on DA anymore, but I have been well and am still drawing and sculpting (I've made many more garbage sculptures that I am sure you would appreciate). I really want to catch up with you more thoroughly at some point, but for now I was just going through the stack of your artwork sitting Β in my inbox. Glad to see you are still in the throes of your unique brand of madness!

Thanks Hecate! I had a lot of fun on my birthday - especially in the evening. Went out with a very good friend, both of us dressed in funny political costumes.

Thank you very much, Bottie! And lol, it's also been a year since I even uploaded a deviation - I really hate being behind in my artwork & correspondence with friends on DA, but at least good people like yourself still stop in to wish me a good day every now and then. I did have a great birthday, by the way - a great friend & I dressed in our Soviet-militaria costumes and took the town by storm (so your use of 'comrade' is very appropriate in this context, lol). Thanks again, and we should catch up some time.

It's True Dandabug.
Pathetic Chinese cops dragged my out of my hovel and t5ossed me in with Chinese junkies, degenerates, African illegals, one boy who was handing out business cards for a brothel, and even a Chinese guy caught masturbating!

I spent my time amusing myself, by menacing the other prisoners, sharpening my toothbrush, and drawing obscene imagery all over the cell walls and prison clothing of the other prisoners.

I left them with an image of a woman in Chinese police clothing and gasmask, laying spread eagle, masturbating herself tenderly.
Drawn on my friends jumper across the back.
He promised to wear it into the yard as soon as I left the prison.

You're very welcome! You've got some really great stuff - I'm making a black leather kilt of my own right now, and ran across yours as I was browsing tutorials (mine will be pleated & interspersed with bright green underpleats, so quite a bit different from yours - still, yours is an inspiring cyberpunk kilt!). Keep up the great work!

Also, as something to add onto my previous comment, I got a few new faction to add to Stygian Boding soon enough. The main two I will mention here are my two favorites.

Renegades- Humans who have fled the Empire and broken off to form their own civilizations. Though they vary extremely, most are known as anarchists or raiders, and cause problems for many others. Thought of them a short while ago.

Dreg - Mole people, and one of my older creatures. I created them for a series I worked on before Stygian Boding, but they where one of my favorite creatures, so I am going to port them over to Stygian Boding. They are mole people who are extremely religious and live in a theocracy. They have an interesting religion, and their religion has some similarities to Christianity. Though, instead of perceiving heaven as above them and hell as below them, they perceive it as the opposite way, and see all other xenos as demons.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Dandabug In reply to orbit26 [2013-08-18 22:50:17 +0000 UTC]

I'm definitely excited about these upcoming developments. Renegades always make things a bit more interesting, but I am far more intrigued by the idea of the ultra-religious Mole-People! Such a very different and original concept - I can definitely see this developing into one of the more interesting factions.

School for me was a drudgery until I reached the college level, where motivation actually takes you places. I entered community college at age 18, studied for two years. I just graduated earlier this year with a basic two-year associates degree, which is not really good for shit by itself, but useful if I ever get to go to university---so basically, I'm a 20 year old guy with no real qualifications but plenty of options still open to me. Later this month I will begin another two-years of school in a technical program, learning to build orthotic and prosthetic devices. I've always struggled to find a major calling in life, but I do really like working with my hands and studying anatomy. Basically, this might get me a good job and open up more options for me in the long term. I don't feel destined for anything very great, so my drive in life now is basically 'you might as well grind it out,' LoL.

orbit26 In reply to Dandabug [2013-09-07 22:55:16 +0000 UTC]

Yea, it's extremely drudgery, and I hate the majority of the people in my school are people I hate. I have one best friend, and some other friends. I have no luck with the ladies, however.(Quite an understatement.) I wish to enter college as soon as I finish school. Nice, and that sounds really cool. That sounds like an interesting job, and something I could possibly be into. Hehe, best of luck to you my friend. I personally plan on getting into Computer Programming and Scripting. I'm sure you'll do great, mein freund.

Hehe, danke! I like the Renegades a bit, because of their flexibility, but I love the Dreg! Hehe, thanks. I've loved the dreg ever since I created them. They are one of my favorite creations, and that days quite a bit. I can't wait until I can work on them.

I'm going to improve my art skill before I try to draw them-- I want to do justice to them.

Ah, interesting. How is the apartment? Also, I must say, I'd like to see the art projects soon, as I'm sure they will be something I'd be delighted to awake to being in my watch list. Me myself, I go back to school tomorrow(sigh) and I'm trying to enjoy my last day of summer before I have to drudge back to the American high school system.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Dandabug In reply to orbit26 [2013-08-18 22:52:54 +0000 UTC]

The apartment is very nice, actually! And best of luck to you, what with going back to school - the American public school system certainly isn't the best, but if you can survive all the social bullshit that you get put through then you can move on and never look back (at least, that's how it was for me).

orbit26 In reply to Dandabug [2013-08-19 21:54:41 +0000 UTC]

Damn advanced English. I didn't want to sign up for advanced, but my grandmother made me. I was having an okay day as far as school goes, then, come seventh period, Pre-AP English, it turns out that I had summer work that I was never alerted of. Now, I've already lost 155 points worth of work, but also, I was supposed to read two stories by motherfucking Gabriel Garcia Marquez before school, and we took a test over the stories that I didn't even know existed. It sucked-- I just sat there, blankly staring, and now I'm pissed, since I've lost 200 points of schoolwork that I can't make up. Damn you, English class.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Dandabug In reply to orbit26 [2013-08-19 23:33:28 +0000 UTC]

Good grief, that sounds terrible! I can't stand it when students are penalized for the school's negligence, and it happens all the time. Make sure there are no other surprises like that in store - ask if there are things you should be reading ahead of time, or if there is a way to make up those lost points. The main reason I've survived academically is that I am always to do anything to get the grade I need (short of bribing/sleeping with the teacher, that is).

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

orbit26 In reply to Dandabug [2013-08-20 01:19:33 +0000 UTC]

Yeah-- thank you. I hate it to, and it does seem extremely common. I'll have to ask her tomorrow, and I really hope I can make up the points, but I don't think there is a way. I'm bother by how many points I've already lost-- it's absolutely absurd. I'm usually willing to do a lot, and I would prefer to do a lot of school work as opposed to a lot of homework. (Bribing a teacher is interesting, but I'd never do it/sleeping with the teacher? Not too bad with my English teacher -- seriously, though, I wouldn't do it.)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

orbit26 In reply to Dandabug [2013-08-18 23:15:49 +0000 UTC]

Haha, nice! Good luck with any complications that may come up during the moving period.

Thanks, I may need it. Yeah, it isn't the best. Except for the math subjects, and a few others, I often know more than my teachers-- this is especially true when it comes to history. I have issues with a lot of people in my school, and I've even had to have been involved in fights before, but it wasn't bad-- it was actually a bit fun.

Yeah, I can't wait until school is over. Though, I need to go to college for the job I wish to have, I have to imagine that many colleges would be better than American high schools. Though, I can't say for certain, so I am curious on what will develop of it.
