Sorry for the late reply. My internet has been out of whack for two weeks. The reason why I chose this character is I thought it would a good opportunity to experiment/improve lighting, shading, proportions, ect.
That sort of thing. Think of it as using new/improved skills for your future works. I hope I'm not sounding confusing or anything.
