I was going to comment, but anything I would've said would've been redundant, like how the Jersey Devil looks like a comic book character (and how that is a good thing) and the humanoid appearance, despite not being entirely accurate to the Jersey Devil of myth (as far as I am aware, anyway...), works really well with the background of the image.

Seriously, your ideas for aliens are so amazing and unique that it makes me wonder how the hell the creators never thought of them on their own? Instead of Vexray and Soundbite, we get Jetray and Fasttrack. Delightful.

Its the UAF Staff really. At least the Omniverse Aliens had something new (mostly). Feedback is Chromastone, but better, Bloxx is..Bloxx, Gravattack has gravity powers, Ball Weevil can spit whips of plasma, Pesky Dust (Renamed Dreamduster) has dream manipulation powers, Molestache (renamed Hamstache for...reasons), The Worst is Invulnerable, Toepick (Renamed Frigre (Fright + Ogre) is fear personified, Gutrot (renamed to either Gasball or Gasteroid) is the master of gaseous substances and Whampire is a Vampire. What did the UAF Aliens bring that was completely new and/or unique? Originality and uniqueness are appealing factors for the viewers, but the UAF Staff were happy just recycling ideas over and over again, the only exceptions being Lodestar (Magnetism), Water Hazard (Hydrokinesis) and NRG (Radiation).

Yeah, I was glad that Derrick J Wyatt was brought on board for character designs, I heard he was the one who got a lot of the new stuff of OV put in including how some aliens looked and what powers they had.
Wait I though Ball Weevil spit of globs of explosive goo, not whips of plasma.
Yeah, there wasn't much originality when it came to most of the aliens powers and their looks. That's one of the big reasons why I was into Ben 10 art when I first started out, to fix what I thought was wrong with those aliens and how they could be improved.

Derrick J Wyatt is a miracle worker when it comes to Ben 10. Him and his team fixed Eatle, Water Hazard, Jury Rigg, Swampfire (to some extent), Ultimate Hugo, Brainstorm, Spidermonkey and Chromastone, and healed Diamondhead, Four Arms, Ripjaws, Wildmutt, Way Big and Heatblast from their UAF downgrades.
The Wiki calls it plasma, and the episode Rules of Engagement shows him shooting a whip of plasma. Spitting a whip of anything is unique, which is why I went with that rather than the spheres he usually spits.
I think the worst thing is that most of the UAF aliens are easy to fix. Give Hugo a more Saurian appearance, remove half of Jetray's powers, split Swampfire into two aliens (One for the methane and one for the flames) and make his powers logically sound for both, make Clockwork a golem rather than a robot clock, make Terraspin not function like a helicopter, and so on.

Yup, I hated Water Hazard in UA because he came off as looking too robotic, then DJW redesigned him and he's one of my favorites. UAF Jury still slightly creeps me out cause he's a little naked red devil, then throw an aviator's costume on him and he's so much better. I hated the look of Ultimate Humongousaur, but just like WH, I loved how he was redesigned to integrate new features instead of being recolored and have a few stuff added to his original design. I was loving Spidermonkey and new outfit and wolverine haircut really suit him. Really glad they decided to give Chromastone an even more alien look, even thought it kinda came out of nowhere. I was so glad they ditched the ponytail, half naked gladiator look for Four Arms and the catfish, no legs look for Ripjaws.

Exactly, I was wondering how anyone could mess them up that badly. Nice, that's how most of my redesigns for those aliens work.

You basically summed up my thoughts on each of those transformations.
It was a one-off, but a really cool, logical one-off (Unlike Flash-Way Big, Flying Chromastone, Space-Breathing Hugo, ect...).
I know. My versions are generally similar to yours, though their is one exception: Terraspin. In my version, he is renamed to Tortnado (really need a better name but I can't think of any) and instead of being the messed up child of a Helicopter and the turtle from Finding Nemo, he looks much closer to a Galapagos Tortoise, but with the head closer resembling an Alligator Snapping Turtle, and his shell's spots are actually pitch-black bits of skin that suck in air in massive quantities and releases it through his mouth, which can also be used as a close-quarters weapon.
