I'm glad your sister-in-law has adopted him, he's such a cutie! I don't understand how people can abandon something that small and sweet
We get a lot of abandoned animals in our neighborhood too . . . and they always seem to gravitate to my aunt's house. I think they instinctively know there are cat lovers here and they WILL be fed and watered.

We have 7 cats and one dachshund puppy in our household. Two cats belong to my oldest aunt and my youngest aunt has the other 5 and the puppy. Gets to be pretty hectic here sometimes . . . to say the least

She's good with digital art too. She says the only thing she doesn't really have a feel for is sculpture . . . in traditional art, that is.
Looking at all the things she does well really makes me feel deprived. My other aunt sings opera my dad plays guitar really good and sings and writes songs -- my aunt that died was also good in art and singing (I never got to meet her, she died before I was born). My grandmother on my dad's side was an artist too. I guess I inherited my grandfather's lack of artistic talent. He says the best he can do is stick figures which is about where I am

Hm, I have tried. My dad's tried to teach me and so has my aunt -- she still tries to get me to draw even though I've given up on it She says anyone can draw what they see, it just takes a little effort, but I want to draw what I see in my head and that takes talent as well.

I think a lot is about the joy of getting better. Because we all suck to begin with, we need to appreciate stuff other than "Awesome! I made a neat picture."

Seeings as you've got such great artists in your proximity I really understand why it would be hard to appreciate your own newbie art. Even though the presence of people with great experience is a boost to potential, it might kill the lust to create.



Anyway I'm glad you appreciate art, even if you don't wanna create ^^

My aunt, who's probably read the Lord of the Rings trilogy at least 20 times, says this is a wonderful drawing of Olando Bloom as Legolas.

My uncle says she's one of those people you love to hate 'cuz she paints, draws, does digital art, writes poetry, short stories, songs, makes hand-made jewelry and Christmas cards, sings and plays guitar.
