He obviously was abducted by the Nazi Mammoth People that control our governments for knowing too much about the anatomy of Pleistocene mammals.

Oh. I had no idea I was being addressed until now. I guess it would be better to mention me or reply to my comment.
So, THAT'S what happened to him... very unfortunate, I joined DA long after his abduction, it would have been nice to interact with him.

That IS the book that inspired me to start paleo-art when I read it in 2006 ...and is exactly why I do mostly Ice-age North America, I'm trying to bring to life, and understand everything that was a part of the last "Super-Serengeti". It's probably no coincidence that it appears to be the "perfect book" for me. lol

I'm a big fan of serchio, he's very talented! - Our techniques and content are admittedly similar but I've never seen that as a bad thing We both came onto deviant at about the same time and had already developed our abilities independently. He uses great methods to determine accuracy of scale and weight estimations for his restorations that are far more accurate than most!

How dare you go so long without informing me of your existence. As a huge fan of prehistoric mammals, I am infuriated that your gallery has taken so long for me to find. Why the heck have you not read my mind and come to me to introduce yourself?

I'm sifting through over 1700 "updates" right now and I am moved at the amount of positive feedback from everyone. I cannot address every message one by one so let me first thank everyone who has given me any kind of feed back at all - I must apologize to anyone I have disappointed due to my lack of activity. I can't guarantee more projects in the near future but I will say that the enthusiasm I've received is contagious. I'm re-evaluating some free-time to see if I can re-visit this interest of mine. My lifestyle went through many changes the past few years and as I've gotten older my time has gotten more valuable (and harder to manage). These were all time consuming projects done in nothing but my own free time. I had (and still have) no idea how to translate this type of work into sustenance, otherwise rest assured I wouldn't need to be dusting any cobwebs off of my deviantart profile... Once again, thank you everyone for the support and enthusiasm I truly appreciate it, I'll see what I can do to add some new work.

I've had you in my watch for a quite a while now, but sadly I had never truly browsed your gallery more throughly before. Must say, that besides having a great talent of making prehistoric animal photomanipulations which look much more realistic than most in dA, you also have a great talent of inspiring. No, I'm not switching into photomanipulation myself, but your gallery makes me want to illustrate some Cenozoic mammals.
Hope to see more artwork from you. It's about time, looks like you haven't really been hanging out here lately?
