And let me just say, I'm very glad that they nerfed Diddy Kong as they did... because I hate dealing with characters that are Cheap Good rather than Legit Good.

On a different note, I'm getting to be rather proficient Shulk on Smash 4... his Monado Arts and attacks fit my style of play.

Me too, although he's still a major threat, I would think. He can move really quickly if players aren't careful.

That so? Funny you mention getting good at other characters - I've been meaning to try out Lucario a bit more, 'cause I had this one fantastic match with him against my friend's Robin. (He won, but the mind games were intense.)

Agreed... but Diddy is now much easier to handle and he's not as capable of crushing the opponent as easily as he could.

I haven't used Lucario in a while... didn't like how some of his attacks worked (not including his Aura Sphere and Force Palm)... although that Knockback once his rage his up. Though it gets funny when people try to abuse his Projectiles when I'm playing as R.O.B. or Pit/Dark Pit since I can reflect them back at him... including his Force Palm.
I'm currently taking a long break from Smash 4... and a deserving one at that.

... I just realized that half my team will be from Gen 1 (Gyarados, Jolteon, and Ninetales) and half will be Gen 3 (Sceptile, Gardevoir, and Flygon)... don't know why I find that funny.

Right, so here's what I wanted to talk about regarding that: How fucking stupid is it to have the Dawn Stone so far into the game!? My Kirlia ended up being severely underleveled once I got the damn thing.

Or you know, you could get one from the Super Training by taking out the Gallade Balloon Bot... that's how I got one of mine for myself, and had subsequently evolved my Moody Female Snorunt (that knows Switcharoo) into a Froslass. Regardless though... that's incredibly stupid to have to wait that long to get it.
Delta Episode was pretty darn good... not fantastic, but pretty good. I'm rather surprised that I managed to catch Rayquaza with a Luxury Ball (that being the second ball used) in one run, and catching Deoxys with a Repeat Ball in one run without resorting to the Master Ball... which I can thank my Lv. 58 (now Lv. 59) Gardevoir for that, because after Mega Rayquaza soaked up the initial Psycho Boost (and jeez 3/4 HP gone), she was able to soak up his multiple Psycho Boosts and Hyper Beams... all while using Hypnosis to keep him asleep for me to catch him.

Wow, that is a good run. It took me a little while to catch the two of them, but I did all of it on my first try without a Master Ball as well. Paralysis helps significantly.

Of course, that requires you to have a Pokémon with Max EVs... but semantics. Regardless, either you'll have to work for that Dawn Stone or get it by Late Game.
Rayquaza didn't take me that long to catch honestly... Deoxys on the other hand took me a while, though the one thing I'm glad of is that it never landed a crit on Gardevoir since that isn't affected by Sp.Atk debuffs... and that my Gardevoir has impressive Sp. Def.

Max EVs isn't that difficult to achieve, it's just tedious after a while.
Psychic types have always had amazing Special stats, which is an awesome thing to have in a team.

Very true on that notion, though I will say that it will depend on one's tolerance to tedium tasks in handling that.
Quite often guaranteed to be one or the other... if not both for some Psychic-type Pokemon.
Also, I really got a kick out of my Ninetales Drought Ability... Burning Fire Blasts and Quick-Charged Solarbeams (or how I and a few people I associate with like to call it: the Kamehameha) all around.

Admittedly, that happens to me as well which is often why I, after completing the main game of some Pokémon games, take a day to a week's worth of a break before playing again... although it was much worse with Pokémon Y since it was a case of that boredom turned Up To Eleven and, once I took a more critical look at it, me seeing that game through Jade-Colored Glasses.

Wow... although you've had the game for much longer than I have frankly speaking, it may take a while before it takes me about maybe a few weeks or so to go back to the game... and that has happened where it takes me about a month give or take before I go back to it.
Switching topics a bit, I've returned to my old Gamecube Game of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door... and currently doing a Double Pain and Unsimplifier Run of the game (quite actually the first time I'm ever doing it too).
