Even if you did only use the pic for reference while drawing, perhaps you should have changed a bit more than the colours - like the costume or hair or something. Then maybe people wouldn't accuse you of stealing? Besides, I would hate to see my art copied in ANY WAY. Maybe you should use pics from anime and cartoons for reference.

YOU are no fan of SQUARESOFT/SQUARE-Enix with that club 'Aerith Haters Forever' Aerith/Aeris is cool, a good magic user, and the only reason you hate her is because she is weak and can only use magic, LEVEL GAIN! ever heard of that? No-one does that anymore, thats why they fail on completing something, they just restart of struggle, she is strong if you gain her up and she is a GREAT magic user! YOU just don't know how to gain level properly and/or use her!

yea. reference. reference as in tracing. they got taken down so obviously the administrators agree with the artists whose art was stolen.
if your sister can't draw anything without stealing someone else's time and effort and tracing it maybe she should give up and waste her time doing something else, so she doesn't waste ours with her crappy art theft.
