Well I don't know, All I know is that the given name and discription are close to what she told us.
Conventions ain't only cosplaying, there are also many workshops for drawing in the styles of; fantasy, manga, anime, cartoon ect.
Anyway gl with drawing and who knows? maybe your friend shows up and tells you about her meeting with a crazy bunch of cosplayers in the MCdonalds

Heh I'm trying to drop that style a little.. working on more realistic drawing style. With only anime you don't come far in the gameindustry xD

yeah, you don't, but that's not the main point, the most important thing is, if you stick with anime style your whole life, you'll end up like some people i know that can only draw that, nothing more, and when they give them critics regarding anatomy or color theory, they just say they're awesome lol, so, it won't let you grow as an artist
keep it up! i started doing only anime stuff too! but I changed slowly my style, and worked on other things like realism (thank God)
