I'm going on a customer service course soon, but I'm honestly not sure how things will pan out for me. I'll probably be stuck doing retail for a long time but my parents have considered having me as their carer since both are with physical conditions that won't get better ): I got a city and guilds certificate for web design but I've been hesitant to pursue anything art of web related even though I got pretty far in college before home problems thwarted it all. Hopefully you get work in the arts and media industry and put all them qualifications to good use

Yeah.. Neo is long gone to me, haha. I revisited a while back but it's just too messed up with the economy and all of the good games are gone, lol. I'm done with random freezings as well after my old account fiasco. I do still long in once in a while just to keep it active, since I know they've been freezing older 'unused' accounts and purging their usernames, too. Nobody will take my Shoe away from me!!
You can become a carer for your parents, and you'll get an allowance. My mum is the same and my sister helps care for her, which makes it easier for both of them. Definately look into it if you're stuck, and if you want to help. And the best thing to do for an Art-related or Web-related future is to just build up a portfolio yourself; a lot of the time, a bit of paper doesn't mean much. It shows dedication, but if you have skill a huge portfolio is going to mean a lot more to someone than a bit of paper saying 'I went to college/Uni for 3 years'
