Commission UpdateHey guys, I know its been hella forever...I had a lot of shit go down over the summer/fall months and I've just now been able to actually make it back and able to do something on a computer itself. I had to start undergoing back adjustments/therapy because my spine is so messed up I couldn't sleep or stand etc. Then I had to have my wisdom teeth (all 4) removed cause the pain in my mouth was so intense, and that took a few weeks to recover because I got an infection with it. I broke my foot and I've been in a cast for a few weeks, so that stopped me from a lot. I had to have a lot of bloodwork done cause I'm having health issues that they aren't sure about still, I've been going to doctor like 3-5 times a week to keep me together. I got engaged too and I had to do a lot of traveling over the summer when I wasn't broken to other families homes and events. Then during all this my old computer crapped out so bad I couldn't do anything with it and my tablet/drawing program

I dunno the neighbours yet, I just signed the with contract with my lessor yesterday. He wants to renovate parts of the flat so I can't move in before November/December. But from what I already saw and heard about the flat, everybody is nice ^^

Everything's p alright here~ Classes are alright and I'm really enjoying my animation class. I have the same teacher as last time, so that's a plus! She's really chill, and last week we got to watch the movie Coraline while waiting for turns on the computers for our projects on still-animation I believe it's called? You move toys/objects around and take pictures of them, and we're making it 3d.
Omg I have to tell you- So, my group of three (one does the animation, another records the shots on the computer and the last person moves the camera side to side for the 3d effect later) where up to do our animations for an ongoing story (It's a whole class project, and we each have limited frames before another person has to make their animation). At first there were three soccer dude toys with large heads and a clay horse and green man. It's my turn, so I brought my own toys we bought for the project. Guess what mine was? A car. So, I introduced the car slowly into the frame and basically made it run over the horse and the man riding on it. x3 Good majority of the room saw this happen and it was hilarious. It was kinda hard to position the toys to make the fall look good, but everyone seemed amused by the idea. Then my turn was over and I just finished the car running over the horse and man with the soccer guys running away, and my group have to rotate so now I'm recording the shots. The second person continues this onslaught by having the car run over another soccer guy. Then it's our third persons turn to animate, and he does the same thing. Class was over by then and I didn't get to see if the other groups carried on our killing spree, but from what I last saw/heard was the horse and car doing a dance battle after having been run over? I dunno, I just found it hilarious my group followed my idea of running people over.

Oooh, that sounds like an interesting project! In my school, we did a super small animation project once. With clay figures. It worked similar to what you described (without the 3d thing tho) and was pretty funny. Even tho the quality was probably rather bad xD

Yeeeah, we actually did clay today! We had to work in groups of two this time, and once that was done we had to do our own separate animations. Mine both involved dragons getting eaten up by a snake. xD Not to worry! My alone clay project had the dragon getting out alive and another dragon killing the snake. Good times. But I got clay underneath my nails. xd
Yup! Just watched it today. P much the car still ran everyone over. Here's the video: 3d Anaglyph MM400 F18. My part starts at 0:03 and ends right at 0:04. It's 3d, and our professor gave us 3d glasses.
Lol nah. You see, if a toy was being used for the animation and it wasn't properly taken out yet, then the toy has to stay while other people manipulate it on the field. This project took about three weeks roughly for everyone to take their turn? So for example, the orange car (along with the world of Warcraft orc and soldier) belonged to me, but since the car was still being used I couldn't take it home until today. I reeeally don't want people messing with the transformer toys (the professor wanted toys the size of your palm or smaller to use for the project, mine are a bit larger). So if they tried transforming the toys, they might break because of misuse. Not to mention I don't care about the three toys used, so it didn't bother me that they were left in the room for those three weeks. I can't say the same for a transformer toy that costs $20+ compared to $1 toys. xD

Hahaha, well a snake shouldn't stand a chance against dragons in my opinion. They don't even have talons. xD And clay under your nails is horrible. Like, it's so difficult to get rid of it! Uuuuh. If I remember right my clay project involved two cheetahs that raced each other. I think they had a fight beforehand but became a couple afterwards or so. But I'm not sure about this, I don't remember the plot too well xD It wasn't overly exciting. A friend of mine made a cute animation though. She had two clay pinguins performing tricks on a trampoline, which looked really funny!

Ooooh! Theres a lot happening in that short viedeo! Had to watch it a few times to see everything xD Yeah, that car did a good job at bowl over everybody else. What a near project!

Oh, alright that makes sense of course. Providing expensive toys for such a project doesn't seem like a good idea.

The sneks were dragon-sized. If we're going into specifics of clay snakes I'd say to compare them to the snake basilisk. Heck, I remember hearing a story about a snake getting an alligator and consuming it, not to mention the bigger snakes that kill deer. Not too hard to believe nature adaptions depending on prey choices ;3 Even though I'll still always hold dragons dear to my heart compared to snakes.
Aw, that's nice! Did you guys position the clay for a 2d look? My group project was semi-spent with just the figures standing up, but for my solo project I just did it 2d. Much easier to make it seem the dragons are flying/etc. Edit: Clay animation here's my animation~ Just uploaded it.
Yeah, it all goes super fast. xD But we had limited frames, so we couldn't make them any slower. Still good enough for our first time~
Ughhh, there's a fukin' cricket invasion in my house now. Just killed two tonight and there's a couple corpses outside of the room. My g-parents keep the front door open at night, so the crickets can easily get under our screen door. My g-ma likes to blame our cat for dragging them here, but I've never seen our cat do that. So uh, this is nice.
I mean I'm probably royally fucked in Undertale. Ever since that game I've basically considered any kills I get from bugs as EXP. Fun times here.

Oh no, I can imagine it's really annying to have crickets all over your place. Especially in the evening when they start chirping. When it gets colder outside, many insects try to get into houses as it's nice and warm inside. In my case it's spiders that invade my house (even tho I don't really mind, because they eat the nasty insects and don't make noises). Plus, I can't kill them. I always feel sorry for a lost life, I can't help it 'D. Except for mosquitoes or food moths/clothes moths.

Hmmm.... Now I wonder if Muffet got EXP. I mean - her muffins consist of spiders, don't they? This has to be considered as killing too, no? I dunno xD
