I have had a new idea! (Did I get this comment in my box? I don't remember seeing it...*ponders worriedly*) Maybe the septiceye is slightly sentient, or starts putting "poisonous" thoughts into the bloodstream/mind/what have you, and various goings-on happen because of that...?

I'm think the septiceye was the result of a failed/unhealthy/illegal surgery (by being a street child and taken for experiment, for example), and it gives adrenaline boosts, links back to the brain (to connect both good and bad chemicals and distribute them through the body), probably gives very blurry but still basic depth perception...Makes him bleed from his eye...Other than that, it doesn't do much that a normal eye wouldn't (like seeing), but might have a strange kind of "sentience" maybe trying to make the body survive better, if that makes sense.

Something like that. I think the scientists are going to be a kind of "villain" (more like tragic backstory/fear of, etc.), especially for like the mini-comic example; they somehow had a hand in what the idea was behind that plotline. As for the septiceye, it's a kind of inner monologue, "fight against the self" overarching subplot that takes place in him mind that deals around his and the eye's parasitic/symbiotic relationship. And I'm glad that at least made a bit of sense And thank you!

So my friend recently got me obsessed with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.   
And I was happily watching it, minding my own buisness, AND THE KID SHOW TURNS INTO A FREAKING HORROR SHOW.
Seriously.
