I wished to thank you for having added my bust-style sculpture of Bartholomew Kuma to your Favorites. I hope that the work has proven somehow inspiring or interesting to you.

As it's a rather large sculpture, and out of a material such as plasticine, I consider it rather brute. Were I able, I would certainly choose to create something more refined out of a more worthy material... Aye, time will tell.

oh cool! I actually wanted to transfer to ilos but classmates and teacher suggested to just finish what i started so yeah - I'm off to 3D maya this September. I prefer drawing traditionally and would love to try my chances on comics or manga

How do you find the illustration course at Seneca? Likes? Dislikes?

The ILU program needs some tweaking with how much Structure/Life Drawing we get, IMO, but I'm enjoying it. Also, the projects all kinda bottleneck after midterm, which sucks, but I think that's true of any program.

I would say that if you prefer traditional art, then you should come to ILU, but you already talked with the profs about it. I was going to do ANI originally when I applied to stuff after Art Fundies, then decided I didn't want to draw frame after frame of someone else's work. I dunno. You gotta decide what you really want to do after school!
