and thanks! but i don't feel acomplished with my work because it's just me looking at photos, i need to learn to draw from my mind. I have the ideas i just need to learn to get them on paper! PS: silent shout is a cool name lol

Naw, don't feel bad, looking at photos is good practice, and if you do it enough, before long it sort of becomes ingrained in you and you can remember how to do something without looking..
Its not the only way to do things, but it's certainly a useful method :3

Thanks! It's actually a song and album from a Swedish band called The Knife...typically I think its a little stupid to take things like that and make it a user name or something, but it was one of those things where you saw it briefly for a moment and didn't see it again for a while, and when I tried to think of something it popped up in my head and I thought I had made it up, when I was actually remembering something I had seen for a moment.. Sweating a little...
I don't mind so much now though, its come to take on its own personal meaning for me, plus they're a really killer band..X3 Really cool sound and some pretty deep and emotionally driven lyrics...

And well thats ok! either way it's a cool name lol Swedish band huh? I'll check them out! i'm up for any music. usually i listen to metal, or really soft emotional music lol... I believe that any art is driven by emotion and how we feel. I guess artist like us have a more sensative feel for emotion :) (Smile)

Drawing is key :]
I know I tend to spend more time thinking about what I want to draw than actually drawing, and the times I sit down and just go with whatever hits me, that when you really start to make progress, thought is an ender...

They are quite awesome ^^ Some of their stuff is a little too deliberately techno for me, but I think they do a great job at meshing it with other things so its more...I don't know..emotional, since a lot of electronic music tends to have a bit of a distance between it...
I think to be a really great artist you have to be very in touch with your feelings and what is going on around you..Technically in the most tangible sense of things, what we are doing is taking what we see around us, figuring out how it makes us feel, projecting it though some kind of medium, and giving it back to the world to hopefully turn some lights on...its no easy feat, so it's almost crucial to be extremely in touch with your feelings...
