It takes a pretty big Dredd fan to enjoy the movie as well. Plus that song is better live so really ANYWAY I can bring up the band Anthrax and Judge Dredd then I'll goddamn take it.

I like the graphic novels and the film.
I'd like to hear that song live!

The graphic novels are fucking awesome because they're tongue in cheek and making fun of American films. As point being... [link]
The movie, ehhhh...Left something to be desired.
Plus Anthrax is usually touring, problem is if you don't leave pushed and clobbered around for awhile then you're not doing it right.

DeathProofKitty In reply to ImBillPardy [2011-07-08 22:08:38 +0000 UTC]
That's the great thing about the graphic novels! You don't find many comics like the Judge Dredd books! And that has to be the best picture I've EVER seen.
Well, I found that the movie was...funny.
Oh man, that makes me think, my mum and dad got clobbered and pushed about at a Motorhead concert and Rammstein concert. That must be the best experience to be battered about at a concert XD
(I like your icon by the way)

ImBillPardy In reply to DeathProofKitty [2011-07-09 00:13:24 +0000 UTC]
The movie was only funny for the most dumb of reasons. Like I just enjoy doing the Stallone voice and saying "YOU AHR NAWT DAH LAWH! I AM DEH LAWH!" It just...wasn't Dredd'y enough. Though it was cool to see ABC Robots even though they have nothing to do with Judge Dredd.
To be fair, Anthrax mosh pits are still fun. Meaning if you get knocked down people pick you back up and don't intentionally try to get you hurt because it's mostly old school metal guys who are respectful and not out to make sure you get hurt or punch you in the face.
And thanks! I Do love me some KMFDM and Skold and probably my favorite album cover.

Ah well, it's a matter of personal opinion really. I thought it was quite okay film. It was awesome to see the an ABC Robot in the film!!
I don't know how it is in the States, but if you go to a metal concert in London, you get the skin heads knocking, pushing, kicking, and punching you in tune with the music! I was advised not to go to a Motorhead, AC/DC or Metallica concert, but I will when I'm older.
No problem : ) Cool, I have to check out those bands!

Though new Dredd film is apparently in the works. There's some photos and I'm already sold on the old school looking helmet design.
In all honesty, it depends on the metal show. More of the younger up (mostly of the hardcore and post-hardcore variety) and coming bands the kids don't know what the fuck they're doing and they go into really just hurt other people. Like punching people everywhere and not respecting some kinda courtesy. That's how it is in the states at least with the shows I've been to.
Skinheads, not so much here. I See some on occasion, but enough security and enough people to usually where they're not trouble. Plus I don't condone it or encourage it, but if you go to a show with a friend and if they have weed then you will make friends easy. Me and my friend went to see the band In Flames once and there was this 7 foot barbarian of a man who yelled out "I SMELL WEED! WHO'S GOT WEED?!" And my friend offered some to him and he hugged us both and he said "THESE GUYS! THESE GUYS ARE MY FRIENDS!" So throughout the show in the mosh pit he was like a giant body guard who pushed anyone for us in the pit. It was weird awesome.
As for KMFDM, well a better shot of my icon here [link] and music wise if you want to give them a shot listen to these [link] [link] and [link] tell me what you think.

Can't wait to see the new Dredd film, I hope it'll be good. :\
I guess it does depend on who you see, but people here just tend to over do it with their aggression and end up leaving you with a rather swollen black eye... or two. O.O
Oooh, I like those tracks
I would say more, but I'm really sleepy and can't think much I'll write more tomorrow, right now, I'm gonna go
Goodnight mate

[link] It sounds promising and I like the helmet design as well. I Don't know how I feel about it being in 3D though since it kinda makes it feel gimmicky.
Only performer offhand I can feel where it's law around here to leave with someone else's blood is Slipknot and possibly Slayer. I Just remember leaving the show with my friends and as we we're walking and I don't know how, but someone else's blood was on our jeans.
Plus glad you like. They should be going on tour after they're done with the US if I remember right sometime in the Fall or so.

DeathProofKitty In reply to ImBillPardy [2011-07-11 08:25:48 +0000 UTC]
A lot of films are in 3D now, so we kind of have to deal with it.
That sounds awesome, just to walk out of a concert with someone's blood on your trousers is just plain funny!
If they're going on tour in the UK, I still won't be able to go,(Though I'd lurve to)plus the fact that I'm only sixteen, my mum wouldn't let me, and I respect that.

For some reason, I am loving the shit out of your European terminology of things.
And to be fair at that Slipknot show, majority of my friends jumped the railing and one of them ran into this drunk guy who tried smashing my friend's head in against the floor so he had to basically poke his eyes. So it was more like a desperate escape if anything...
And at least you're getting closer to that age (at least here in the states) where you can see shows. You been to any at all?

DeathProofKitty In reply to ImBillPardy [2011-07-12 20:55:28 +0000 UTC]
Okay, thanks.
I see now, nobody wants to run in to an angry drunk, if I did, I'd go all Mortal Kombat on his/her arse!! ... Ahh, a poke in the eyes is a good one my mum says! So did you hide somewhere in the crowd to get away from him?
Unfortunately, no. I've been dying to go to a Motorhead concert though!!

ImBillPardy In reply to DeathProofKitty [2011-07-12 22:00:25 +0000 UTC]
It was only my friend who was caught in that collision. Basically when jumping the rail he kinda bumped into the guy and he was mad crazy drunk so by default that guy was ready to start some kinda shit. I Did almost beat up an 40 year old woman at a KMFDM show because she was being rowdy so I grabbed her arms and told her to "calm down before I put you down." It was one of those odd spur of the moment things because I never go looking for shit to start up.
And it always surprises me when Motorhead is brought up mostly because Lemmy is so...well, British, but he resides in California. It always kinda boggles the mind for me at least and in the very least he hasn't lost a beat in performing as opposed to say...Ozzy.

I think it's Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Beyonce.
Ebony Bones is better For some reason, good artists don't seem to be recognised very well anymore

For some reason I kinda figured your country would be free from that. To be fair it's kinda the same here THOUGH Indie music is starting to pick up here, which is a nice change of pace and doesn't involve as much about gigantic female asses or boobs.
Plus in all reality and honesty, NO GOOD artists are really recognized by radio stations. This is a fact so in a way mainstream music usually always does suck...Though I do occasionally listen to Gaga. Don't judge me.

As a girl, I don't really like looking at ladies arses and boobs in music videos
I won't judge you because you sometimes listen to Lady Gaga, I sometimes listen to Adam And The Ants but hey ho

It more so distracts a bit too much from the music a bit too much. [link] Like I use to enjoy that song, but the music video turned me off. I Listen to metal to get in a fighting and headbanging mood and I need the visual to accompany it, if it's scantly clad females then it's just...awkward.
And it's hard to hate on Gaga since she cares so much about her fans...that and she's so fucking catchy.

Yeah, there's quite a lot of lady parts being shown.
If I'd heard that song without having seen the video
I might have liked it.
Yeah, plus, she likes Motorhead, AC/DC, Queen, and several other awesome bands which I also like!
By the way, sorry for not having replied so soon, I'm just recovering from a bad case of influenza >.>

I First heard that song when I saw them open for Dethklok and it was also in the video game Saints Row 2. Now it's just...I Don't even. Also call me shallow or gay (eventhough I'm straight), but the fact the lead singer looks like a substitute teacher for a gym class also doesn't help.
I Think more so Gaga has that thing about her where you feel like if ever given the chance you could talk to her like a normal person and feel at ease. Though just a weird feeling I get. Like how she always says she was a pop star who always wanted to be a pop star.
And it's fine. I Just always hope not bothering or boring you. That and get better soon.

My brother held an elevator door open Lady Gaga, did she say thank you... no But her music's still good
You're not bothering me man! I'm starting to feel MUCH better
