An alpha female is the leader of the pack. The one that the rest of the pack defers to. If you watch a pack of animals you can soon determine which one that is. An alpha female is a stong and determined person who does not take crap from people and never plays the role as a victim. She goes after what she wants. She fears no one. That's the best way I can describe her. In the movie, "Titanic", the character, Rose, played by Kate Winslet, was an alpha female.

I really, really appreciate that. I am trying to bring some people here from another website and it would be helpful to know a little more myself. I do not know if you have heard of the website OvationTV.com It has become intolerable there. So I took most all of my art down. I would love to know a simple way to do multiple uploads here. I have been putting mine on one at a time. It will take forever to upload over 200 photos. Please, please help. I will be forever in your debt. BTW, I am near Macon, and nice to meet you. Deb

As far as multiple uploads I'm not entirely sure that's possible which is a test of patience I know, but I will ask around for you and see if anyone knows something about it.

You have no idea how much I would appreciate that. Could and how do I add you to my watchers so that I can get in touch with you again? OvationTV is only 1 year old. It has had nothing but fighting on there the whole time. Many people have left. Alot of it is mismanagement and they appointed some people to help run the website. Those people have become power hungry , manipulative, and abusive. I go on a website to enjoy it, not to add any additional stress to my life. My husband was on there, too. They made his life a living hell because the powers that be do not like digital art. That was his only crime. He is no longer on the site and is in the process of posting his art here, too. The people there are all about traditional art and are stuck in the 18 th century. My husband taught me how to do digital art back in the Spring. I have a program called zoom text on my computer that enlarges everything for me. I am legally blind due to diabetes. For a long time I did not tell them of my blindness. Another member begged me to tell my story, and when I finally did, I was mocked and ridiculed. That really hurt my husband. I felt worse for him than I did myself. He is so proud of my accomplishments. It was the final straw for him. So we are so in hopes that this is our new home. We need to find a support group here. People we can share artistic ideas with. People we can talk to. We like interacting with others, sharing laughs, and good times. Is there some place specifically on the site that we can go to for that? I really appreciate your taking the time to listen to me. If I can just get settled here I know I could be so happy. Thanks, Deb

I'm so sorry about what happened at that other site but I have met nothing but respectful people who will no doubt find your work inspirational and digital art is one of the biggest mediums on the site so your husband is sure to enjoy and be enjoyed.
As far as finding a support group and people to talk to, you could look into some of the clubs or groups the site has to offer. Many groups are geared toward certain mediums like digital art and photography and are always happy to welcome new members. Browsing and commenting on people's work is also usually guaranteed to strike up a conversation and make some new friends.
