# About me
I have a disturbing habit of ending up in work that just seems to exacerbate my obsessions. Bookstores and computer game stores, yes please! As a result, my house is overflowing with way too many books that I will never read and more games than I know what to do with.I also have a case of rabid fangirlism, much to the dismay of my long suffering husband, who does not understand my need to overindulge whenever something takes my fancy.
Eventually, the dream is to work for a game company as a writer (le gasp! fulfilling two loves at once!) but for now I'll potter about in my shops and waste money on fantasy RPGs and urban fantasy novels.

I am alive! This week in particular was a bit of a nightmare because there were three birthdays in my immediate family, so sorry for the late reply but family sort of consumes me this time every year. I'm doing good- just got over a nasty bout of the flu that knocked me out of action for a couple of weeks, stressed me out a lot about how much my new job was willing to let me take leave, but it's turned out okay in the end

Things are going well! I don't think I have ever been in such a creative maelstrom before and the bad thing is when I start writing blurbs or parts of chapters at work when it is slow. Of course, lately, things haven't been that slow at work. I stay up too late, get little sleep, because this stuff needs to get out. Of course, it also comes around time spent with the boyfriend and kids. My busy part of the year for family birthdays is coming up too soon here. Have one in September, 3 in October, 1 in November, 1 in December....lol So, I feel for you!
Good thing about the job! Yeah, I would be worried too if some boss would say "Hey, take all the time you need." lol But I guess at your work, they wanted you to be healthy and not spread any contagion around to cause anyone else to be out sick.

Ahaha, yes, I know the dangers of getting caught up at work writing a quick word here or there. Suddenly it's occupying your brain for the rest of the day and you can't escape it! And work were lovely, I finally sorted out the last of the sick leave today and it's such a weight off my shoulders too.
Now hopefully the creativity will trickle back too

[1] Have you ever yelled out to your friend in a crowd and, whilst gathering the angry attention of everyone in said crowd, discovered that it isn't really your friend?

[2] Exam finished, 30 minutes to spare. Do you leave, distract others, draw stupid things in the border or procrastinate about thiking about the next one?
I'm ADHD so I sit as quietly as possible because noises in a test drive me bonkers. That is IF I finish early which is unlikely due to the aforementioned affliction.
[3] What makes you laugh more- Really bad stories/fanfictions, so bad they make your eyes bleed, your irises get up and walk off and your pupils cry, or a story in another language that when you use Google Translate comes up as something a drunk Yoda may say?
i.e 'beans are the eating home of Henry herm!'
Probably the translations, but, really I'd probably not laugh much, and just walk away from both.
[4] If aliens were to take over the planet, do you think they too would be confused by those ridicious maps google maps prints out for you, when you ask for a map of London and somehow it shows you the streets of Antarctica?

Yeah. Yesterday, in fact, lol. I was getting groceries and the money I had thought I had transferred two days ago didn't go through. I had to step out of line with two full shopping carts and fix my bank account before I could complete the transaction. VERY EMBARRASSING!!! LOLOL

4 - Digital or traditional, which is better? Why?
Both can be truly gorgeous. However, I find that digital can leave a plastic look to things unless the artist is willing to really put in a lot of time into adding details. I have tried to do some digital work and I have enjoyed it so maybe if I familiarized myself with it more I will change my mind. I will always love traditional more though, I think.

1. Which do you prefer - classic literature, modern literature or non-fiction? And why? Classic, but I adore fantasy stuffs too. I love swashbuckling heroes and heroines, epic fights of good verses evil, saving the day, and angst ridden plots to redeem the badguy. I love fairytales and most classic love stories. Jane austin in particular.
2. Have you ever deliberately crossed a Zebra Crossing extra slowly just to piss off the cars? (I love walking on a crossing when someone's going really fast cos I'm just like "Bring it." And i'm crazy)

Not for a very long time. Having kids makes frivolity difficult. However, in dreamland it would be a brand new kitchen with copper countertops and granite accents a hood stove in copper again with all new appliances in nickel with a warming oven and massive refrigerator and then the floor would be a black or copper colored marble/granite. Glass fronted cabinets and all new cookware and dishware and glassware and silverware and ....................
5. Have you ever burst into song somewhere completely inappropriate? (I started singing at work when I was on the dishwasher cos the kitchen was empty. Then my manager and my supervisor walked out of the office which is right next to the dishwasher and gave me a round of applause. I still don't know if they were being serious or taking the piss.)
All the time! I sing just about everywhere I go and damn what people think of it. XD I used to belt out opera as I climbed the steps of my dorm in college.

I know what you mean about the DA fics lol. I missed a couple of challenge deadlines, and actually finished a couple recently but I still have a bunch of DA plot bouncing around half written (kind of problematic when a different world is trying to vie for plot supremacy!). I Have a few SW ideas bopping around in my head as well. My muse has finally decided to emerge from her extended hibernation, so mine should start rolling out over the next few days. Damn bioware for making such interesting characters in their games! It keeps me too busy!
I have this long multi chapter thing rolling around in the back of my mind... I've never done multi chapter before... It's kind of intimidating to think about getting all that plot to marry up! lol

I am!! Ugh, I have been in the most awful creative rut lately- my doctors have been changing my medications to try and get me settled again, I was having trouble with anxiety, and now my brain is a little all over the place and all my writing is coming very slowly and painfully. I have most of a chapter done, trying to decide if I hate it or not.
(And on top of that, I nearly broke my foot a few weeks ago, which meant I had heaps of time off work while I was recovering, but did I put that time to good use and write??? NOPE. Grrr. Stupid brain.)
But I am alive and well, mostly, and there is a chapter coming, Tahlie and Anders and Justice and all the rest are being so very difficult and won't play with me at all *pouts* I'm hoping for the next couple of days. Fingers crossed anyway
