That one is also a little tricky, there was a great flood, but again scholars think it was added later. The thing is it does play an interesting part in the team of the myth. A man known as the hero of the flood, Utnapishtim survived the great flood sent by the gods and was granted immortality. And seeing the team of the Gilgamesh epic is immortality he seeks out this hero to learn of a way that he can become immortal. From what I know Gilgamesh had nothing to do with the great flood, he only hears it from Utnapishtim. After Gilgamesh finds him he tells him that there is a chance that he could gain immortality but he must stay awake for 7 days and 6 nights, sounding familiar? after having heard all of this Gilgamesh falls asleep and make it so he cant deny sleeping he has his wife make a loaf of bread for each day he is asleep. although this isn't the end of the quest, he informs Gilgamesh that there is a plant that will rejuvenate him but he ends up failing in that endeavor and returns home. So to answer your question yes and no there was a great flood, but it was more of a side note in the epic of Gilgamesh.

Indeed. Do you know why they were able to kick the Shah? "They" wasn't the Mullahs who kicked him, it was England and the US. It was all about the Oil and a lot of money.

yeah for some reason I'm obsessed with this kind of armor i mean scale mail seems to have been the first armor configuration with metal,a configuration which remand practical even when chain mail and plate mail made the seen

scale armour is awesome, I'm planning on making some more this holydays, like plumata-like scale armor and some more like those mixs between chainmaill and plates that i've seen a lot in oriental armours
