I don't mean to be the sort that labels people by their sexuality, but I notice that you are gay and living in Texas and cannot help to think what sort of people you must face.
I remember in high school, we wanted to start a GSA (Gay/Straight Alliance) at our school and for the longest time we were simply not allowed. Eventually, the administration could not resist our pleas any longer and we were allowed to start a small group.
Do you fight for activism in your own town and state or are you still simply trying to find understanding friends and family?
I don't mean to pry and please do not feel compelled to answer, I am just very interested.

Actually it's not really that bad. I don't really get any hateful comments at school or anything except from the usual jock guys who just want to make themselves more cool. So there really aren't many people to face. Yeah i guess texas will never be one of those gay loving places which is why i'm getting the hell out of here as soon as i can. But things really aren't that bad. I have this friend and he plans on starting this gay rights thing at school so hopefully things will go well with that. Lots of my friends understand except there are those really religious people at school that i just can't stand cuz they are always saying homosexuality is a perversion an all that but i just try to ignore them.
