Hi! this is the only form of acceptable stalking!π yeah, I've seen the conversation, I've seen something similar on fb recently... extremists are douchebags, and the bad thing is that thet're everywhere. The illustration hated by him is totally unoffensive.

The sad part is, he's just a child... His parents and educators are responsible for making him think that everyone who isn't a Christian hates Christians, that the sole purpose of atheists is to make fun of his God.
There's probably nothing I can do about it, so I just hope that when growing up, he'll see that not all people who don't belong to his community are against him, and not all people inside his community are perfect

Since I only joined DA 2 years ago, I can't really answer your question... I find it very useful to share works, exchange critique, or simply talk to other artists... For me, it helped a lot with improving my art, which was my purpose when joining DA. But I'm not active on any other social media (which answers your second question as well ^^), so I lack an element of comparison.

I'm not a pro, I've only done a few paid illustrations so far, but some people contacted me for free-lance work through DA. Based on other people's experiences, though, I'd say that ArtStation (or similar industry-oriented websites) is a better way to build a good-looking portfolio and get a job, if that's what you're looking for

I have been professionally working for about 2 years and a half, but I want to share my personal works, meet new people and get critiques! So, I'm very open-minded and I simply want to discover new things! Btw, very happy you stalked me, I'll give critiques to your works, and if you want you can do the same with mine . I'd be happy to exchange critiques, but since we have different styles and interests (I try to improve the general composition, edge contrast, subtle colour variation and brush stroke efficiency in my paintings, but I don't know much about line rythm and flat colours, for instance), I don't know how helpful my advice would be ^^
I can give it a try, though, if you'd like me to critique your work
