Bwah?! T-thank-you! I've been watching you for a while. I liked the way you used your markers and I was trying to study how you used them so that I could improve but I gave all of my markers to my wonderful niece and now she uses them all the time XD. I still love seeing your stuff pop up in my message centre. So cool!

I think it was too. I remember how dumb I felt askin for it too. "Hey, draw all the characters!"

I got a new job with Charter Communications at the end of the year and work in their new lab in Denver. Which since I have a computer science degree and I work in a lab, that officially makes me a scientist now. (Yay! Childhood dream accomplished!)

Yay, comics!  I can't wait to see that.

If there's any wisdom I have (which is unfortunately very little) it is this: don't learn how other people draw, learn how you draw.  There's a million different work flows and different ways to accomplish the same thing.  Figure out what's most comfortable for you, because you already know how to draw, color, and generally be awesome and all you're doing is learning to work with new tools.  If it's sketching digitally, fine.  If it's sketching on paper, taking a picture, then inking on the tablet, so be it.  If it involves finger painting, all the better.

When it comes to digital art tutorials, read everything, follow nothing.  It's all about learning the tools after all.

The best digital art manipulation is the one no one can see.  A dozen subtle effects are gorgeous when they work together, while a single overt effect is garbage (Unless you can make it work.  There are very few hard rules, after all.).

And of course, if I can ever be any help, feel free to ask anything.  My skills are might be limited, but hopefully I can at least point you in the right direction.

I've been lookin' at digital tutorials for so long down, that I really get what you're sayin'! Seeing someone else's process can only help you so much. You gotta figure out what works best for you.  

If you know of any good tutorials, by all means, share them this way! I'll be glad to give anything a look!
