Cant, too many times when I was a kid watching my parents beat each other, I would pray. Nothing would happen. Things only got worse. so, that is my deal.

Oh, well I mean I've heard my parents start fighting and I would become sad because of it. Yet I prayed and I ask God to stop it, and I knew I had to go upstairs and somehow help the situation. The Bible say faith with out works is dead.
Soon enough I would kinda just talk and listen nicely to them, and then the LORD would make it, so that a chance to talk about God would come up.
Prayer does work if you really believe it, you just have to trust the LORD to help you.
I only say that, because I didn't understand how faith worked at first.

Maybe, but unlikely. I'm not saying I hate all that stuff. I am just a neutral party. There are a lot of incidents in the bible that can be connected to major geological events that happened at the same time. So that kind of makes the bible seem more like a history book written by people who were trying to make sense of what was going on in the world around them. I am not trying to say there is no God. I am definitely no trying to change your views. I am just giving you another explanation/ example of why I am skeptical.

Well, either way. It is interesting that those things happened and there is geological evidence to prove it. I am agnostic. There is no proof that god really exists and there is no proof that he doesn't. I hope I am not offending you. I hate it when people tell me I am going to hell or I am a bad person because of my beliefs. Maybe they will change someday, I don't know. I don't see that happening but anything is possible. I figure, if heaven is actually a place I want to be, and it turns out all that stuff was real... Then God, being all forgiving, will forgive me and understand why I thought/ think the way I did. If God lets bad people into heaven just because they believe and they worship him, I do not want to be in heaven. If the people who raped me go there, it is not the place for me. Generally, from my experience, people who are religious tend to judge me (not saying you are cuz I feel like we are having a good conversation)when from what I know of the Bible and God and everything, only God can judge me.

Well, being more honest people judge regardless of what you say. By what you said to me is like saying, If it means being forgiven by faith in the son of God is how it works then I won't believe. It's pretty bad what you just said, but you're also forgetting the way you put things isn't really how it is. Is God a man that he is fooled? Doesn't he know who really has repented or who really believes and loves him? now saying that why would God let a sinner into heaven? No, its the other way around, when you come to God you must leave your sins behind and by faith you are forgiven. From then on you are renewed by his Spirit made new; washed of your sins, for no human can enter heaven. You must be born again, for only your spirit can enter heaven. yet regardless of this if a man says 'Let me continue to rape and murder' will he still enter heaven? No, that man is headed towards destruction.
