I am a believer of equal rights to everyone, especially equal rights of love. My name is indeed, Alyssa. I am an adolescent and my birthday is June 30th, as you may know. My favorite things in life are music, video games, anime, band, and drawing. I may not be the best artist and there are many more people that are better than me- just like anyone I try my hardest to get better because I love drawing. For band I play Piccolo and Flute, by the way. I know it's my business but I like having people know that I am pansexual. This means that you are basically gender blind and are attracted to both genders, regardless of what they identify as.
I've learned to stop caring about what others think and only go with what I think when it comes to personal choices. When It comes to my career, I don't really have one yet. I am not sure what I am able to do, due to money issues. Mostly the like there of. Though I enjoy architecture, psychology, and coding/scripting on a computer, I do not know what I will pick.

I do write sometimes but I haven't written a lot and most of the stories I have written were never finished. You can find many incomplete stories on here as well as fan fiction. Although, I do have two one shots on FF I'm proud of. Most poems are on here and let me tell you, I do NOT remember them. Funny story.

......... -_- People are so damn STUPID not knowing the true meaning of the rules here on this site until it finally gets to them!
Once we warn people, they don't listen, and they believe that we're the ones who are wrong!!!
To be brutally honest in my personal opinion......I think it's pretty amusing to see people's accounts get cleaned out and even get banned right after we warned them!!!! Serves them right!!!! That's what they get for ignoring our warnings and once their pictures/ artwork gets taken down, please tell the person who was deluded enough to believe we were wrong this phrase.......... "SEE I TOLD YOU!!!!!!!!"
Also...... it's not just the members here on DA, but the administrators here in DA are crappy themselves! Ironically hypocritical most likely!
Sometimes they DO take down illegal pictures, but then they also take down pictures that are not big of a deal. Half the time they don't even bother taking down erotic pictures we reported!!!! I mean come on DA!!!! It says in your own rules that stuff we reported to you are big no-no's right?!?!!! Make up your minds!!!!
It's also no wonder that hundreds of people have left this site due to so many bullshits!!!!
AND check this which I don't understand........ One time I warned a deviant member about posting an uncensored pornographic fan art of Tiger & Bunny and the picture wasn't even drawn by the deviant who posted it in her gallery, it was a copy from a doujinshi artist.
Of course the hard-headed girl didn't listen to my warning, and insist on telling me that it wasn't a big deal and she even said that she didn't drew the picture and believed pornographic pictures are ok on DA since there's plenty of erotic pictures as long as it's tagged "mature" and as long as you give credit to the original artist................... I reported her, and her account got permanently banned a few days later!!!! I was glad thinking "Serves her right!!!!! " Learned her thick-headed lesson for ignoring people's warnings!"
But then a month later her account went back on!!!! WTF!??!! How can a permanently banned account got reactivated?!???

Despite her for just writing the fan fictions but using someone's fanart for her story still wrong right? I doubt she got the artists' permission to use their artwork. Not mention the artist themselves don't speak any English since I've seen their work in Japanese art sites.

Hmm I think you're going a bit too far here.
She doesn't seem like one of the really obvious art thieves to me. Okay, she COULD at least tell in the artists comment that this picture is not hers but I think it's really obvious to the people anyway, don't you think?
Just like you said, her own drawings look tacky so it's clearly visible that this pic CAN'T be hers. Well it's not very nice of her to use the image but at least she doesn't say "Oh look, I drew this. I hope you like it."
And I've seen TONS of people here who use someone else's drawing when they post fanfiction. I believe they're doing that to gain more views on their submissions because a drawing catches people's attention easier. Normally people here who post fanfictios don't do it the way this girl does. She didn't directly post the chapters into her gallery, instead she just gave us the links to each chapter. See, when you post a fanfiction directly into your gallery, you can add a picture that has something to do with your story. It will most likely help getting more views and I don't see anything wrong with that. When you've worked hard for something you'd want people to go see your stuff, right?
It's just like on YouTube, for example. People writing the headlines in capital letters and using sexy women on their thumbnails to make people click their videos. It's shameless but it's not forbitten.
All this girl is doing is promoting her work. She doesn't claim this picture you showed me to be hers.
Also, I will no longer report people because well...DA only allows the original artist to report that their work has been stolen. They no longer accept reports from people other than the original artist.
This is an excerpt from the text that appears when you click on "report deviation" and then click on "permission issues" (the only one that fits imo):
"If you believe this deviation is using third party content which you yourself do not own or control, you may still comment under the deviation, if you wish, recommending to the deviant that they consult DeviantArt's journal on art theft ."
So basically all you can do is tell the thief in a comment that he or she should delete the stolen work. All you can do is go tell the original artist about the theft and they have to report it themselves.
It really sucks because many people steal pictures from japanese artists on Pixiv who don't even speak Englisch and who also do not have a DA account so how the HELL are they able to report their work as stolen???
Do you understand now why I cannot report her? I always try to contact the original artist and let THEM decide if they are reporting the theft or not. It's easier when someone has reposted the work of another DA member. A few days ago I found a CreepyPasta picture that was repostet by TWO different people. I contacted the original artist. If they want to report the thefts I'm sure they will do it.

I think you got it mixed up, the first person kiana-aj I never said she's an art thief, ruko119 but even so, it doesn't matter if you post a picture and give credit to the original artist, the picture will STILL be removed!
It happened to me a BUNCH of times when I posted manga scans here of Kuroshitsuji and gave credit to the artist Yana Toboso, but DA deleted them all!
Kinda like what happened to you like you said when you posted an artwork that had sex it and DA took it down, except that I never got suspended. They even took down a couple of nice fanarts of Ran-Mao drawn by my favorite Japanese doujinshi artist for a fan fiction i wrote and of course I gave a link credit to the artist, but DA took them down!
They even send me these message from their policy rules.........

Why did DA deleted my Ran-Mao fanarts and my fanfiction?!??! And the fan fictions were rated PG!!!!!!!
And if you won't help report for stealing artworks, fine, whatever. I have others who can help especially reporting to the help desk since the "report deviation" doesn't always work. There's always another loophole!
AND you actually don't HAVE to have an account to report to the administrators. They have emails.
I'm going to continue reporting pictures that don't belong to the people who posted them. I've done it several times and DA HAS got rid of all the scans from their gallery, but it sucks that these lunatics keep coming back with the same schemes. But if you gave up on reporting art thieves that's on you.
