Hmm, well I like the House of Hades, mostly because of the whole Tartarus/Bob/Little Bob thing, and also because a)Nico comes out of the closet b) they make fun of Nico in their own discreet way throughout the whole book, even though they are all actually creeped by him and c) I like that Hecate makes such a big appearance. Gale is funny.

Yea. Also I personally liked the first person perspective he used for the PJ and the Olypmians series better, but I guess you can't really do that with a seven people quest, with all the members doing different things at the same time
Mm, as a HP fan I'd like to see some more Tom Riddle action, but I think Asa Butterfield fits more into the role of Artemis. I'm sort of pissed they put the first two books into one movie, like SO ARTEMIS FOWL ISNT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU HOLLYWOOD DUDES HMMMMMM? I mean, they make one book into TWO movies sometimes. But oh well. This is a long-awaited moment of awesomeness for us AF fans anyway.

I think I've figured out how the plot of the movie's gonna work when they put it together. So Holly's kidnapped, right? When Artemis asks for a "wish" and trades it for a bit of the gold, maybe he'll trade more of the gold for Holly and Root to help them save his father. Since the LEP are busy with the Artemis Fowl Siege, and the Commander and Holly are busy in the Antarctic, Opal Koboi finds the most convenient time to strike with her goblin rebellion. Briar Cudgeon has probably always been in league with her because of his jealously of Julius. That's my opinion, anyway.

Huh. I never actually thought about it that much, but I think your explanation is really smart. I just really want the opal deception and lost colony filmatized, because a) awesome plot and scenery b) interesting characters. Btw who do you want to play Artemis?

Well, maybe not all together in one movie, but I think it'll be three. Possibly four. It seems like that type of movie that would finish the who series off with a "Part I, Part II," movie.
